Topic: Street Fighter Collection

So this is the thread to chat about all things Street Fighter! For only £30 this compilation is a steal.

What are everyones thought? What is your favourite game? Super SF2 turbo is too fast isnt it (please agree)?

i'm loving it, even though i'm crap at the games still for that price you get a lot of content and it's well worth it

I haven't bought it yet. But because of what I've heard from various players, might as well put it on my list.

@themcnoisy I do like a bit of Street Fighter.

I think it's a shame that the collection features 'just' the arcade versions of each title - as they certainly are not the definitive versions for some of them.

Third Strike and Alpha 3 have far superior console versions. ~(Alpha 3 Max is a glaring omission I think.)

@FullbringIchigo Its great, Alpha is a real surprise how good it is and it is well worth it.

@VinnyLynds If you like Street Fighter you will enjoy the collection. They are all great games. Minus the first game.

@KALofKRYPTON It should definitely be called the arcade collection!

I'll maybe pick it up when it gets cheaper.

I have V (PS4), Alpha Anthology (PS2), Anniversary Collection (XBOX), Collection (SAT), Champion Ed. (MD), Alpha 3 Max (PSP/Vita) - and even the movie game for Saturn - so I have plenty of Street Fighter to play should I need.

@KALofKRYPTON With all those games you have yourself covered. The PS4 compilation is great but unless you want the trophies theres no point as you have sf3 on the xbox anniversay collection (I had that at one time) sf2 in a couple of guises and alpha on vita.

@themcnoisy I'm out of the game so to speak at the moment (eye issues) - but it could be fun for some online wreckage down the line. Getting Shoto players to rage quit while playing Zangief is one of the funniest gifts SFV has to offer. (Note: I'm OK with 'gief, but most of my friends are far, far more accomplished and practised SF players than I am!)
