Are Bounties, Rifts & Adventure Mode on the PS3 version? Haven't bothered with my PS3 version for sometime, as I waited for my PS4 Version. I'm level 62 Crusader on Act V, looking forwards to doing the Bounties, Rifts & Adventure Mode and level-up the other characters, excellent game.
Has anyone played The Last of Us themed Rift yet? It's supposed to be random and I have had no luck yet.
I did finally get level 70 legendary gear from head to toe on my Wizard though.
I have been working on my Demon Hunter now. I didn't mess with the DH much on the vanilla version of the game but really liking it now thought I have spent a good amount of time with that class.
I'm doing the Adventure Mode, Bounties & Rifts with my level 70 Crusader now, and I'm starting a new character tonight. Probably the Wizard or the Demon Hunter, loving Adventure Mode tho.
Well looks like it will be awhile till I pick up this game Right now I am in a bad state financially which means no extra money for games for awhile. Kinda upset cause by the time I will probably be able to get this game no one will be playing it anymore.

@Splat Just have started Adventure Mode yesterday and have yet to play my first Rift. I'll update when I come across the TLoU one.
I love Adventure Mode. I have cranked up the difficulty (I finished the campaign on normal) and appreciate the challenge...besides, Adventure Mode is the pure, refined Diablo experience for me. No distractions, just good, ol' hack'n loot RPG-fun. I'm having a blast and enjoy the game tremendously. Since this is my first time EVAR to play a Diablo game, I'm really glad I decided to get it on a whim at launch.
Will try to bring my lvl. 60something Crusader up to 70 asap and the start to really parallel-play a 2nd character.
I love the diversity in tactics concerning the character. You can either play the Crusader with a shield and take advantage of the blocking perks that it brings...or wield a two handed weapon and for example buff all on holy damage and healing when you deal out holy (and wrath). Or you can combine it because there's a skill allowing you to have a two-handed weapon and a shield. Pretty cool. I'm thinking about starting a 2nd Crusader so I can fine-tune each of one to the different play styles and then just switch between them, because I enjoy the character so much.
Looking forward to the tactics and perks the other characters enable in their higher levels.
@Reverend_Skeeve I'm so glad you like it because I cound on hunting for loot with you once I also hit 60 or 70. So far you just reflected my sentiment towards the game, only that i KNEW it's going to be awesome. Not going to brag here but I was in the original beta on PC, hated it (always being a Diablo Fan) and it took them YEARS of pc-master-race- players beta-testing the game for us consoleros and now, finally, this really is the definitive edition of the game. It's easily the best game on PS4 for me so far (Yes there is TLOU but that's a DIFFERENT not so whacky, pickup-and-play-with-your-body kind of fun, which for me, is the best kind).
I'm really looking forwards to my playsession tonight, as I will be at a friends house from 20.30 to 4.00 and only PLAY DIABLO couch coop! YAY! Best!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
@Scollurio Yeah, I know what you mean, don't worry! TLoU was the game with the most impact-full story and atmosphere for me, and the gameplay is very solid, but not revolutionary. I mostly continued playing it because I wanted to know how the story would progress. Diablo is just plain fun and...well...5 minutes of fun over and over and over again!
Long story short: you can bet your youknowwhat that we'll go on some co-op hack'n looting once you hit 60...besides, there's 2 or three co-op-trophies in that sucker I want to have!

The higher the difficulty the better the loot and the faster you level up. Playing on Torment with three other people is freaking chaos but in a good way haha. I would not even think about trying Torment with out being a level 70 with legendary gear. I can only play on it with my Wizard.
I got a little carried away trying to play on Master with my Demon Hunter before she was ready. I had to bump it back down to expert.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I'm playing Adventure Mode on Expert. Started after I finished all 5 acts of the campaign and got my a$$ handed to me a couple of times...now, that I'm lvl. 68 and have the occasional legendary gear, I'm doing well. But there's still some situations where I have to be careful, so I'll definitely not try anything harder than Expert before I'm lvl. 70 and are completely buffed out with kick-a$$ legendary gear.
Can't wait to see what cool gear there'll be further down, because some of the 2-handed legendary weapons I found are already pretty evil.
My Crusader is level 70 Paragon 20, so I started a new character Demon Hunter last night. Playing in Adventure Mode doing Bounties & Rifts, I put it on Master difficulty then had to drop the difficulty back down to Expert. You definitely need legendary gear with a new character on Master difficulty, I also need to try Torment difficult soon.

I am starting a Crusader and a Witch Doctor. Both are around level 20 right now. Working hard on that!!
whats the idea of adventure mode ? doing stuff to get better gear ?
Pretty much, yeah. Since your character will by far not be maxed out after finishing the campaign, Adventure Mode is an alternative to playing the campaign again. Basically, you can replay the 5 acts of the campaign in any order you chose, but the experience is more streamlined and pure. You can access a world map of the respective act from the town you start in with pretty much every portal active for instant travel. In five of the accessible areas there are bounties, special missions that range from "kill a certain boss" to "clear a certain dungeon from enemies". If you clear all 5 bounties in one act, you get a special chest filled with rare goodies, XPs and lotsa gold.
Beside that, you of course still get the normal loot, gold and XP the monsters you kill drop. Adding to that, some monsters and bounties reward you with blood shards. That's a special currency for a special merchant in town. For a certain amount of blood shards, you can but an armor piece or weapon. The result is randomized, but you have the chance to get a rare gear, so it's kind of a gamble.
In short, Adventure Mode is the pure, grind-friendly hack'n loot experience, without any distractions or cut scenes and with focus on leveling and such.
