So I've just finished the game a few minutes ago and I'll look forward to talking more in the spoiler thread but I absolutely loved it. There were a couple of parts of the game that could have done with being trimmed down a little. Yet the gameplay is much improved over the original and very few games have made me feel as much (good or bad) towards its characters and I loved the story. Possibly my favourite game this generation and if anyone wants to go back and look at earlier comments, this is a game I didn't even want to play after hearing some of the leaks, a definite 10 from me
Older than I care to remember but have been gaming since owning a wooden Atari 2600 and played pretty much everything inbetween.
@carlos82 I'm not sure how far through I am, currently on Day 2/B. Been playing for over 21 hours now. Hopefully I can dive into the spoiler thread at some point in the weekend. Can't imagine what I've yet to see go down, but it sure is a wild ride!
Finished it last night. Brilliant game.
A tragically beautiful ode to nihilism, terror and, ultimately, forgiveness.
I thought the ending was perfect (porch scene flashback was emotional) and thought that was the only way it could end. Curious what others wanted from the ending? Ellie learns to forgive Abby, Joel, and most importantly herself.
Story wise it does drag a little in places for squeezing another setpiece in, but it perfects the action stealth gameplay, so it's worth it to get to play those sections.
Well I notice online (even on an article here) that the internet has decided that a week is enough time to assume everyone has finished TLOU2 and can casually throw spoilers about story direction. Note - not necessarily anyone in the forums here, talking more in general.
I may just be salty but come on - I've only managed to get 8 hours into it due to work/life etc. Even small plot points or directions of story are annoying.
Rant over(ish).
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Rudy_Manchego Yeah I'm still being careful of where I look online. The comments in the spoiler article that Push Square plan on doing is going to be such a delight to read through once we've finished the game.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder Oh yeah - I am looking forward to that! I just feel that so many places are publishing articles and so on with comment sections saying hey, this thing happened, here is my take on it.
@Octane I am largely self isolating so 1 out of 3? But I know, this means I am not a real gamer since I couldn't blitz the game in 24 hours...
That said, I would say that I am taking the game very slow. I avoid confrontation and tend to stealth it which works well but takes some time if you want to sneak about and not take risks. So maybe I have myself to blame too. Also I just love exploring every little nook and cranny.

@Rudy_Manchego Same here, only been using my firearms as a last resort. My game clock reads 24 hours 28 mins in 7 days. Think I started Day 3 about an hour ago game time.

I've read every spoiler I've come across and watched several videos discussing the game so I know it pretty well now, I am going to play through it at some point once the hype has completely died down. I am sure I'll enjoy it, the gameplay sounds top and I have no emotional attachment towards the cast but I know I won't be able to play it and enjoy it right now with the way the community are behaving.
Just can't believe it's all a dream in the end. Nuts.
24 hours after finishing the game and I still have so many thoughts and stuff I wanna talk about. From little moments of detail to massive story beats, there are so many things I've been constantly thinking about all day haha.
While I didn't love it overall come the end, it's really great that a game can have this kind of lasting effect and discussion points.
When you finish the game, are there more things to buy with the points you earn beyond models and concept art? Those two things are cool but if you can buy RE type things like infinite ammo or costumes, I'll save for that.
So I was planning on finished TLOU2 tonight, so I could join the spoiler discussions on the webs, but man, this game doesn't have an end, does it? It keeps on giving. I'm not complaining though! But what I imaged to be another 2 or 3 hours before the credits roll, turned into an entire evening with the game; around six hours and I can see this game going for another while. Hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday..!
@Octane Yeah same, I thought I would have been finished by the weekend. The journey to the ferris wheel seem to take forever. Has some of the best sections in the game though. Everything after Abby gets captured was great, but the boat and the building you eventually get locked in were particularly v spooky.
@Octane I'm just aiming to finish before a spoilercast goes up later in the week. Think it was due tomos but they delayed by a day it as one of the hosts has just finished earlier today and wants time to digest it.
