@render 🤣 yeah, just gonna finish of the remaining trophies on Gris and then hopefully I’ll be starting Elden Ring on Wednesday… I’m pretty excited to finally start it if I’m honest.

@colonelkilgore I've been keeping an eye out for Isaac in a sale for years, I don't think it happens!

@colonelkilgore Yep, Repentance is the final version of the game and utterly brilliant. It might have a different platinum though on PS5, I’m not sure.

@nessisonett cool, well I’ll sit twiddling my thumbs until it eventually (& hopefully) gets a little reduction.

Platinum #78 - Gris - a beautiful little indie 2D platformer. The perfect chance to take a breath between the two open-world colossi that recently released. Here comes Elden Ring!!!! 🤗

Cheers @Keith_Zissou, I’ll be needing it no doubt 😅… I’ve heard about some of the struggles that peeps have been having.

@colonelkilgore
...and a suitable entry on International Women's Day!

@colonelkilgore Nice work. I bought Gris ages ago for my daughter but she didn't give it a proper chance. I might see if she wants to play through it with me if I can pull her away from Lego Harry Potter long enough. Looking forward to seeing how you fair on Elden Ring as well as I finally gave into the hype and bought it 🤩

@render yeah I saw that you caved on the Elden Ring thread, sounds like you’ve liked the little that you’ve played so far too. I’m gonna start it tonight and absolutely psyched as you can imagine.

As for Gris… I’m not sure how old that your daughter is but I can’t help but feel a lot of it’s beauty (in all aspects not just the aesthetics) might go completely over the head of the younglings. I reckon that you may enjoy it though.

@colonelkilgore I can imagine you are well psyched. I'd say I'm equal parts excited and nervous for the challenge ahead but I'm going to enjoy it anyway.

My daughter is 8 and even though she understands a reasonable amount a lot can still go over her head even if it's fairly well explained. I'll maybe leave her to get on with Harry Potter for now and come back to that another time. At least she gets that as it's pretty much based on the films so it's effectively already been spoiled for you.

Jimmer-jammer

@render Might I suggest Hoa? It’s another beautiful little game that is a lot simpler to grasp for the young ones than Gris. May be worth a try.

@Jimmer-jammer Thanks for the recommend. I hadn't heard of Hoa but it looks interesting and a good price too 😀

@Jimmer-jammer added to wishlist… for my erm step-daughter (who’s 25 … and doesn’t game… like at all 😅) ((on both PS4 and PS5 😅😅)).

Thank you @RogerRoger… also, really glad to read that you ended up enjoying HFW. Sounds like it took a wee while but you ended up really liking it.

@render @colonelkilgore no worries! It’s short and simple but was a big hit for m-…I mean in our house. 😂

#323 - GTA Vice City - The cult classic ! Definitely my favorite GTA, I cannot count the hours I spent on this game as a kid. The setting is just perfect, the radio stations are legendary, and I dream about a new GTA in 80s Vice City. This remaster is crap and full of bugs though, but hey, Rockstar only cares about GTA Online.

@Cornaboyzzz congrats buddy. I picked up the trilogy but haven’t gotten around to starting them what with the bugs and such. Even though their apparently horrible ports, I do think I’ll get something from the trip down memory lane.
