I can't emphasis how good this game is. I'm a dedicated gamer and I love games but wow nothing comes close to this

A practice that was well-regarded by all the followers of CDProjektRed and, by extension, the religious organization itself, was when especially devoted followers would make public appeals on behalf of others who were still functioning publicly as non-believers, or even those who had never heard the Gospel of Geralt of Rivia. This showed a praise-worthy fervor on behalf of the believer, an ardent yearning to save their souls from temptation by other major players in the industry.

Octane himself was becoming especially known for this behavior, although, in his case, his motivation was slightly less pure. While he would not at all have minded seeing his targets become earnest followers of the One True Developer, even he couldn't deny to himself the savage but effective logic of his actions. Political opponents who were causing trouble for the church were frequent targets of his because, upon denying the appeal and continuing with their sinful ways, the church would give special authority to the one who spoke on their behalf to do their holy duty and prevent the person from continuing to spread Unbelief and False Belief among the flock by any means necessary.

Octane sunk back in the shadows with his dagger, dulled from frequent use, ready to strike at a moment's notice.

@QualityGeezer Loads of people love W3.
Fair play.

Calling it the greatest game ever is a stretch though. There are about 500 games I would recommend through the years and Witcher 3 is like 416th.

My expectations were huge. And It was a let down.

I strongly disagree but with its legions of fans what do I know! I much preferred Breath of the Wild but to be honest that, Skyrim and Red Dead 1 are the only open world games I’ve ever played that I can say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

@kyleforrester87 You seemed pretty enamored with Xenoblade 2.

The combat is mediocre. Well written though. Better then Skyrim at least 😅
