Starting with my Wii U, I have pretty much been going digital only as far as purchases, however, the Wii U supports external hard drives, and Nintendo first party games tend to take up little space on a 2TB HD (between 1000mb and 10,000mb)
However, I have a funny feeling that given the larger size of most PS4 games, my 500GB's will be used up by this summer.
So what is the largest HD available / compatibles with the PS4?
A compatible PlayStation 4 hard drive is a 2.5" with a height maximum of 9.5mm notebook/laptop hard drive. Hard drives with a height more than 9.5mm will not fit into the PS4. There are 1.5TB available now at 9.5mm. Here is one I found on Amazon. ? http://www.amazon.com/HGST-Travelstar-2 … .5mm+1.5tb. I can recommend this tax free store newegg and this 1TB SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 hard drive would get the job done quite well for now. ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6822152291 Available maybe around April or may is the Samsung M9T 1.5TB - 2TB offerings and the 2TB will be the largest capacity when released in 2.5" x 9.5mm size. ? http://www.seagate.com/www-content/supp … nal-ds.pdf
