@TraCuz- You weren't kidding about the heavy enemies! I just took on that armored truck, set it alight and made it crash, the first time you tango with it though, you can't do anything with it but get away from it, I loved the part where you finally get to take it out ,though! Elena has just shown up, and has a bone to pick with Nate, adding to the drama and suspense of course Hollywood style, as I have been saying with my good friend @Th3solution .

@TheBrandedSwordsman Sheesh man that whole sequence with the armored truck was so awesome to play. Going from hanging over water, crashing thru debris, and then being dragged thru the mud. Of course him and Sam argue on who to ride with then you gotta escape that burning car. Elena showing up at the end was the cherry on top because with all that action you forget about her, just like Nate. And then boom, now she's mad 😂
Just platinumed Bloodborne, and have been struggling to find something to play. So decided to give Greedfall a whirl, as it was free. I knew absolutely nothing about the story. After working my way through the missions in the opening town, I was having fun, and the plot was an interesting set up of political intrigue. All missions done, let's board the boat and head to the island....
So I start walking towards the boat, when something starts banging from the inside. The captain starts moaning about a beast. So I think, they must have a bear in there, or something. No. Smashing out the side of the boat comes a gigantic tree monster thing. Everyone else runs away. I stand my ground, and take it out with my gun. Feeling like a complete bad ass. Honestly, I did not see that coming whatsoever. It was awesome. I'm hooked so far.
Still playing through Uncharted 4 @Th3solution@TraCuz- Tra, yeah, totally it was great exposition with Elena, I imagine she'll be showing up again before the adventure is through, no spoilers, though, please. I just completed Chapter 12, I enjoyed the break from the combat and the exploration involved in that level, but Shoreline obviously showed up right at the end and then you catch up with where you were before in the prologue, I haven't found anything in the game a challenge outside of my comfort zone thus far, but chapters 15-20 are said to be the longest in the game, and therefore probably the hardest!, I think, though, that because UC2 stayed at more or less the same difficulty all the way through that I won't have any huge difficulty spikes to worry about?
@TheBrandedSwordsman Lemme put it this way, my friend and I both tried beating UC4 on the hardest difficulty "Crushing" and the mission called "Marooned" was an absolute nightmare. It was funny because I came to him saying like man there's this mission I just cannot get passed, and he's like "DUDE I'M STUCK ON THE SAME ONE". The most disheartening part about it is because since we already been thru the story, we knew the part that came next was even more hard. Lol to this day we never beat it haha
@TheBrandedSwordsman I think I played it on hard? I find more meaning in my playthroughs when it's challenging. You should be fine just watch out for those snipers and heavy enemies! I can't wait to hear what you think about the next chapter xD
@Th3solution@TraCuz- How did you find Chapters 13 & 14 in Uncharted 4? I just finished Chapter 13. Onto the level with the mansion now which I hear is quite hard, but if I could do Chapter 13 it should be ok right?

@Th3solution Yeah definitely, it feels like playing through Uncharted 2 again, but with a slightly more serious (read:adult) tone to the story, every game in the series is essentially the same at it's core though, no?

A Plague Tale: Innocence. Very good so far, impressed with what the devs have done which i presume isn't on a huge budget. The rats are truly horrific. They will make ya squirm.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Had a quick first go on Assassins Creed: Black Flag this evening. It’s crazy to see how far PS4 games improved over the course of the generation as it does look and play like something from the previous gen (which it ostensibly was in fairness).
Having said that though, I am having fun. The setting is the main positive I think... it’s just so ‘cool’ (could be my own personal perspective in fairness) to be playing in a Pirate-playground. Gameplay feels a bit janky but I’m sure that I will ‘sync’ up with it and learn how to play to the jank in time, if you get my gist.
@JohnnyShoulder picked that up a few months ago in one of the sales, have only heard good things in fairness. Looking forward to playing it sometime.
realy want to give divinity original sin a propper go,but the 2 times i have given it a try a long while back, i ended up stopping because the camera angle/perspective gave me slight nausea.
@jdv95 I couldn’t get into D:OS(2) either... which does leave me a bit gutted. I love fantasy (of the sword and sorcery variety) but I just couldn’t connect with it. I think it was down to the turn-based combat but maybe it was the perspective too, now that you mention it. I do plan on giving it another shot at some point, I’m just hoping I find a turn based game that I click with first. I have a feeling that when/if I finally sync with that type of game I will all of a sudden be able to enjoy most quality turn-based RPG’s.
@colonelkilgore tbh i have found an appreciation for turned based combat.
i used to dislike it but after playing and loving a turned based combat game i see why it's loved. it's for sure better then the baldurs gate or even the pillars of eternity style combat which seems way to confusing for me. sure divinity's combat is hard but atleast i sort of know how it works.
@jdv95 I tried both D:OS2 and Persona 5 and just wasn’t enjoying it, it wasn’t that I wasn’t beating the enemies it was just meh. I’m obviously missing something and am kinda hoping when I eventually play Yakuza: Like a Dragon I will find what it is.
