After the announcement of Spotify coming to PlayStation, it had me thinking that it's been fair while since the last big firmware update, I wonder if the introduction of Spotify is going to be part of a new update.

There is a PlayStation Event on February 13th of which Sony said that there is a huge announcement concerning the PlayStation community and even PlayStation MVP's were invited. I expect a new software announcement then.

There were rumors that it was going to be released before Christmas and then it was pushed back until January 27th which has just recently passed. Most of those rumors come from people on twitter which is always a "solid" source of information. Anyone else heard any more rumors on to it's release?

"Rumors" also say this one will finally give us friend notifications.

Ya there are numerous little bugs that could be fixed that are annoying. Fingers crossed we'll see something in the next few weeks.

I hope they sort out a save file glitch I've had in the next firmware update, I haven't bothered contacting Sony yet as it isn't a big problem but in my save file storage I have a file for natural doctrine and it says its around 200 mb or whatever, however there is nothing inside when opened and I can't delete it.... WTF...

The problem I have with online storage is I'm always out of Space. 1GB vs these newer games with 100MB+ Save files does not work out very well. Since I play alot of games I'm always getting upload errors which I can only figure is because I'm past my storage limit. I try and use a USB key for backup but it takes so long to copy large Saves and you can only copy one game at a time unlike PS3 where you could copy everything at once.

I had that problem yesterday, cleared out a bunch of stuff from system memory and online, its so laborious too, why I can't select multiple in the menu and then delete, pffft.
