@stevebutler2210 just saw your trophy collection...
may I ask... what was your hardest platinum to get?
mine was goat simulator because of the annoying flappy goat trophy, but most of my platinums are telltale games and lego games.
@darkswabber: In all honesty I don't think any of my platinums were really all that hard - that said, FFX was a mega grind-fest, and a couple of the Death Mode levels on Sound Shapes had me tearing my hair out for a day or two!
My backlog is pretty large (a problem I imagine many of us have), so if I'm finding myself stuck on a few trophies after I'm done with the main game I generally won't push too hard for the platinum, as usually I'd rather just put that time into playing something new. GoW 2, Bloodborne and Mass Effect 2 are great examples of games I'm tantalisingly close to platinuming if I could be bothered to put a little extra time into the last few trophies.
Laziness is a big factor too, recent examples being NFS and LBP Vita - I would probably have the plats for both of those if I could be bothered to arrange boosting sessions for the online trophies!
From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5
It took a bit longer than I expected but I just got the platinum for fallout 3, now I'm going to play fallout nv or the fallout 3 dlc until fallout 4 releases in 4 days.
PS3 Megathread 2019: The Last of Us
Multiplat 2018: Horizon Zero Dawn
Nintendo 2017: Super Mario Bros 3
Playstation 2016: Uncharted 2
Multiplat 2015: Final Fantasy 7
@themcnoisy: You've got seven platinums now: Peggle 2, Tales from the Borderlands, Resogun, Sound Shapes, Drive Club, The Order and The Wolf Among Us. Drive Club is your rarest and most impressive, I think.
I also have seven: Far Cry 4, Peggle 2, Watch Dogs, Infamous Second Son, Legends of War, Far Cry 3 and Uncharted 2. Watch Dogs is my rarest and most impressive, but it's not as good as your Drive Club, so well done!

@themcnoisy: Keep your eye out for collectibles! You can follow a guide, but the more you find during your regular playthroughs the less of a drag it is to go back and collect the ones you missed.
@themcnoisy & @wesker i am currently in halfway through my crushing playthrough on this. Almost forgot how damn good this game is. I am playing on PS3 so if you are on the same system hit me up for the multiplayer trophies. good luck!
Only recently got a ps4 and i have 1 platinum trophy on walking dead season 1. I've just got my second platinum trophy on Drakes fortune. Will jump straight into crushing with the sequel as the first was really enjoyable on that difficulty setting.
Just got Uncharted 2 for #9. Crushing was easier than on Drake's Fortune, but I still had some rough patches.
Not sure what game I'll do next, but I'll probably take my time.

The easiest non TellTale platinum I have got. I actually thought it was a solid game and probably the best looking game I have played this gen. That said I only paid $10 and could see how those that paid full price could be let down.
#9 Telltale Game of Thrones. I personally really enjoyed it.
Working on #10 this week which is Telltale Borderlands...the best Telltale game in my opinion.
My brother and I are both in the process of getting ready for a "Platinum Rain Day"...the plan is to get about 10 games, 1 easy trophy away from a platinum and then on a certain day get them all. Bit sad but it's good fun. My potential games so far:
Fallout 4, LBPK, Driveclub, Lego Batman 3. Lego Marvel, Borderlands 2, Life Is Strange...
I AM SIEGMEYER OF CATARINA AND YOU SHALL FEEL MY WRATH!
I have mixed feelings on the game. Episode 1 didn't do much for me but 2-4 really pulled me in. Then I played episode 5 and felt it was really out there and kinda felt like a chore to play.
Also being able to rewind time kinda killed the suspense. I always knew if I messed up I could just rewind time and fix it.
