One “Primary” PS4 in the basement where my kids can use all “my” games and benefit from my PS+ sub.
The other non-primary PS4 Pro that I use, which does not let the kids play games I purchased.
So if the kids want to be playing games together, one of them needs to log in as me on the non-primary machine.
So now my real question is: Once I buy a PS5, what will happen? Will I have one primary PS5 and one primary PS4? Or will only one console be “primary” and allow sharing of games with family? Will I have to still mark my old PS4 as “primary” to let the kids play games on it?
@get2sammyb I haven’t seen any news articles about this on any sites, would appreciate if you could dig up any info. I’m sure that Sony will remain silent though.
Yeah, unfortunately they're not telling us even basic stuff, so granular details like this probably won't be answered for a while. Hopefully they put out a big FAQ soon for stuff like this.
