Hey folks!

I got a second controller to play with my girlfriend, but more often than not I end up swapping controllers myself when the battery drains out.

This week I was a little annoyed that when I pushed the analog forward, my character ran as expected, but every now and then it took a micro pause and then continued moving. It's all fast enough to not disrupt gameplay, but I do notice it. I thought something was wrong with the game, since I'm using BC, but when I played with the other controller everything was working perfectly well, no noticeable pauses at all.

Edit: After trapping my character so I could try movements in all directions, I figured out there's a spot between up and right that is capturing less movement than the rest...

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Do you know how to handle this?

Yes I had the same issues I took my controller apart and cleaned with alcohol and dab of wd40 on the joysticks. Did the same for my dualshocks worked for years

I tried contacting Sony about it. After a few basic tests such as resetting the controller, they asked me to send it to them for fix or replacement. I'm glad I noticed it before the warranty expired.

Let's hope that after all the time it'll take to fix the controller, it actually gets fixed... First time interacting with Sony support.
