@CJD87 I was piling all my runes into DEX originally so I've got that up to 26 but then had to push INT instead due to the Moonveil requirements so I'm now up to 25 on that. My standard Uchigatana is only +5 and the Moonveil so far is +1 so I've got a way to go before I max that out but it's only going to get better. I'm tempted to go seek out the Naga though just to try that too but I think I might need to follow a quest line for that.

I think I'm going to have to get better at following the side quests as I've not really been keeping an eye on them. I know there isn't a quest log so I might have to take a look at a list to see which ones I might have inadvertently started and not continued.

@velio84 That's a really good question! I've found three or four of those paintings and I have no idea what the reward for finding the locations is.

@velio84 Yeah I've done a few if them. Iirc you get talismans and smithing stones from the ones I've done.

@JohnnyShoulder Are they useful talismans and high level stones? I guess my question is did it feel worthwhile chasing them down?

@render awesome that moonviel is working great. I'll have to look into finding it. Iam currently 26 vit. 32 dex. With my +15 Uchi. My int is only at 9 though, so I'll start lvling that up next as before I grab the moon viel.

@LN78 The one in North Liurnia of The Lakes had a smithing Stone 4.

@JohnnyShoulder Thanks. No use to me, then. I imagine there's a chunkier bonus for finding all of them, though.

My mate messaged me last night to see if I fancied a co-op session and we decided to take a trip to the Caelid peninsula, as neither of us have explored there yet.

We started by dying repeatedly to a giant bird, then we got chased by a dragon, until we both fled in different directions. It ended with my mate getting cornered by a tree and killed by some big dude, while I accidentally ran off a cliff while trying to escape three other smaller (but no less scary) dragons.

Worst trip ever.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 The best of adventures end with accidentally running off a cliff.

I'm always in a rush to get playing once I've started a game so just try and get a game loaded as quick as I can. The annoying thing with ER is that just as I go and hit continue the theme tune is kicking in and it cuts it off before it really gets going (around about 15 seconds in). I then wish I'd stuck around to hear it so make a mental note to have a listen next time. Guaranteed though I'll go and forget so just checked it out on YouTube. It's a really fitting theme and just as dramatic as the game is.

@render here I thought I was the only one to care about this kind if thing. It’s actually become part of my ritual when firing up the game to listen to the theme once through. Didn’t think one could make pouring a glass of ice cold chocolate milk before playing any more epic but here we are.

@JohnnyShoulder I’m surprised there’s actually that many tracks to fill what looks like 16 sides. Each region had a theme, and then most of the field bosses and catacomb bosses had the same theme.

@Jimmer-jammer That’s pretty epic, hope your pouring is in slow motion!

@JohnnyShoulder That is an insane amount of vinyl. It would take me as long to listen to all that as it’s going to take me to finish the game

So… enemies that are hands! Nothing in this world really creeps me out that much. I love a good horror movie, the missus and I go to sleep to serial killer documentaries most nights, I generally like scary stuff.

Frikkin’ hand-enemies! They creeped me out in Dark Souls 3 and these ones are even worse. Don’t know what it is… but… absolutely horrifying! 😫

@colonelkilgore Suppose it is better than big feet enemies, no?

@colonelkilgore Hands down the creepiest enemy I’ve come across. When fighting them, I become all thumbs and can hardly handle them. Can’t quite put my finger on why, but if anyone has any ideas, perhaps they can point me in the right direction. Whatever the case, their design has From Software’s fingerprints all over it.
