@Kairu yeah I’ve been holding off on watching one until I’m all done with the game. Not gonna lie, I’m pretty excited to see how they managed it in under a half hour.

@Mega-Gazz Funnily enough I've just done that while taking my lunch break. I'd tried it before but hadn't worked out until @velio84 and @CJD87 pointed it out that I could re-summon the NPCs so was doing it the hard way (and getting battered for it).

@velio84 very nice! I’m looking forward to going back to Volcano manor and am making my way there slowly. From what you’re saying, perhaps I’ll go forward with their request and see where it goes.

I’m finally exploring Altus Plateau, though last night I was sidetracked by the Frenzied Flame Village and area in Liurnia. Took me a while to figure out how to get up there, as I was trying to access it from the minor erdtree side. Found a fingerprint grape upon dispatching a frenzied invader, so it looks like I just need to find Hyetta again after reading the description.

Hope the capital goes well for you. I rode past the sentinels to gain access, touched a site of grace and promptly vacated as my welcome there was less than warm.

@Kairu Technically you can go to Draconic Tree Sentinel immediately after exiting the opening dungeon. So even the main story path is fluid!

I got the Platinum and my Elden Ring journey has finally come to an end. Wonderful game. 🏆

@johncalmc Nice one! I thought about it, but saw that there were a few missable trophies.
Maybe one day.

@johncalmc Noice! Can't see me getting anywhere near the platinum and i have no idea when I'll be finished with the game.

Will be having my first break from this since it came out. Over my parents this weekend, and although my dad has a PS4 and I have the PS4 version, you can't carry your saves over from PS5 to PS4.

@johncalmc Nice work. Like others I’m a long way off but ploughing on. What was your time to get the platinum? Can’t imagine anyone beating @nessisonett 55 hours!

I have the post "Elden Ring" blues. I can't settle on what to play next.

So I think I’ve explored most of the world past godrick.

The only bit I’ve been unable to get to yet is just south of the converted tower in that mountain area. I’ve got the map for it & it shows paths on it. Anyone know how to access it?

After 50 hours it might be time to go to the academy.

Beat Melenia. Really great fight. I like how it forces you to be aggressive and not hide behind a shield. Also hard enough that there is no shame in pulling out the mimic tear

@Mega-Gazz That was probably the best fight in the game along with Mohg. Loved how tense it got towards the end.

@LN78 I have the same issue after every game I have pumped a load of hours into. I usually bounce off a few games before settling on something. Usually something that is totally different and a smaller game.

@JohnnyShoulder I thought "Tunic" was going to fit the bill but just was not in the mood. I've got a few indies (including "Disco Elysium") in my Switch backlog that I can dip into. I'm sure something will stick but it feels like a tough itch to scratch just now!

@LN78 I think this year’s return to yarnham is starting soon, so obviously Bloodborne is next. Would be interesting to see if the curated linear experience still works after Elden Ring.

Personally I’ll finish soon, then jump right back into another playthrough. After that it’s HFW.

@Mega-Gazz I've got "HFW" on my shelf, too. I have a niggling suspicion that it will compare really badly with "ER" if I start it up now, even if it's a brilliant game in its own right.

@LN78 I've got a few games that I've yet to finish like Deathloop and Dirt 5 which I might jump back in whenever I'm finished with Elden Ring.

@JohnnyShoulder Actually "Deathloop" might be a good shout - I haven't played an interesting FPS/immersive sim in ages. I'll go have a look at some prices just now. Thanks!
