It has been 1 week and hours played stat on profile doesnt changed...I have played crisis core for 20 hours and it only say 1 hour on profile....is it just me or everyone have same problem?
@Vayne I haven't looked at my Games page in a while to see since I know it's been broken since the PS5 launched. I would check it from time to time, but the time is never completely accurate. I have seen it not update for multiple days, saying I haven't played a game days ago even though I was currently playing it, but I don't think I've ever seen it be a full week before. I'll have to look the next time I'm on.
It's amazing that they still haven't fixed it, but yet they'll do an update where they force Activity Cards on us for no reason when they are still right underneath the Play Game and Resume Activity buttons.

It feels like a broken feature unfortunately. It would be very cool if played time was measured accordingly every time. But from my experience its far from reality...
I've been having this problem on PS5 games lately, Crisis Core wouldn't show me it for a week and when it did said I only had 2 hours in game (which definitely isn't right). And I've been playing Tales of Arise lately which isn't showing any play time either. The game hours has never been perfect but it seems more broken lately and I really hope Sony does something about it. It's such a handy thing to have to track my game play time.
@5Sam_ATLUS Yeah. I really like when games have a stat feature that does the tracking for you. It feels like a feature that should be on games developers priority list these days btw.
I think setting your status to 'Appear Offline' might effect the total playtime. I noticed that when I first got my PS5, as some games I had played on my PS4 where not showing up due to this. Not sure if this is still the case, as I no longer set my status to appear offline.

@JohnnyShoulder It might, but the Games page has been broken since November 12, 2020 either way. It has never tracked playtime properly, occasionally it will do what it had been doing lately and not track playtime at all (currently playing a game and it saying you last played yesterday as an example), and certain games not showing up properly when comparing a game with somebody on your friends list (Final Fantasy 7 Remake being a prime example with it having multiple versions and a demo).
I love my PS5, and I manage even with the UI not being what it should be in certain areas, but Sony really should put in the effort to fix something that has been broken since the PS5 released. I know it's not really a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but there's little excuse either.

@JohnnyShoulder I'm surprised I haven't reached through your computer and slapped you in the face by now.
The games speak for themselves and prop up what is honestly a mediocre UI so far. Sony has been far from perfect this generation in regards to certain things, especially the UI, and should be criticized for things. That said, I still love my PS5 and the amount of games makes it easy enough to push aside the issues. The alternatives (Nintendo and Microsoft) have their own sets of issues.

@JohnnyShoulder Nah, none of that stuff affects it. All the console does is count how long the app is open for, and then tracks that time when it's closed. Or, rather, that's what it's meant to do.
I started Fallout 4 again last week and now I have two entries for the same game, one with total previous playthroughs and now one with the new playthrough which seems to have frozen now too 🤷
