@Scratchy_Seal I still haven't seen any of that asynchronous multiplayer. Maybe after biome 4?!

@PossibLeigh Nah, it should be everywhere. Looks like they didn't put it back in or scaled it back at least. Maybe that's what's been interfering with the saves somehow, who knows

@Scratchy_Seal I saw one yesterday with the 1.3.4 version so I think it was just dialled right back. I was in the citadel just approaching the bridge to the boss so no way was I going to have a look.

I’ve had a quick go with the new patch and seems ok so far. I’ve died already though so it looks pretty tough out there.

Just discovered the PS5 will install updates on entering rest mode even if the Internet is off. Bye-bye run.

@render I tend to get just a couple games at launch per year, but sometimes i don’t get the time to play them on day 1. In the case of Returnal, I’ll probably start sometime in the next couple weeks, so I think I’ll still be a relatively early adopter and be in on the hype train.

I almost took down Hyperion just but had less than a centimetre of his health to go and couldn’t quite dodge the last few attacks. Damn it was an awesome battle though.

Also: the fact that beating the game (because beating the last boss and rolling credits has to be considered beating the game, right?) gives you a silver trophy says a lot about it lol

@PossibLeigh well what are the chances, I get home and first run pick up the artefact that increases max integrity for every malfunction picked up or cleared that you speak of, awesome...an easy 200% integrity and on my way to a biome 3 beating build.

@Scratchy_Seal After beating the game, there's a new type of collectible to find. There's one in every biome and finding them all opens the way to an alternative ending (aka Act 3). Already got two so that's probably going to be reasonably quick.
Platinum trophy will probably take a little longer though
