I decided to buy this today as i dont have any FPS and its something different to the usual COD type games, i was a big fan of the Robocop films back in in the day and they have managed to accurately copy the faces of the actors into the game so it looks good, I dont mind paying £44 for a recent release being a tight git i wont be paying £60 often.

Has anyone here played the game and if so what did you think?

Update - if you are not a massive Robocop fan steer clear of this game the first few hours are great its like being in the original film, the way enemies explode never gets tired but it gets very repetitive there are also some awful video glitches whatever you have the settings on and the little videos like when he gets up out of his chair after diagnostics will drive you mad after a while, it cost £44 new so will be cheap second hand so worth a try if you are a fan and can find a copy, oh well back to SM2 for me.

@Max_Headroom I'm a massive "Robocop" fan and I loved the game - it's probably going to be in my Top 5 (if not Top 3) for the year - I had a daffy grin on my face almost the entire time - but then it's a game I've been waiting for since I was 11 years old. I did have a few minor lip synch issues, but not much else - it's funny how certain bugs affect some people but not others. Hopefully they'll put out a patch to iron them all out soon.

(sorry if it’s off-topic)

No I gave it a break while I gave Robo a try I am back into it in a big way now it's one of those games you don't want to end it'll definitely be on my quite short game of the year list.

It's not a bad game but as I said you probably need to be a massive fan to enjoy it to the end.

@Max_Headroom Yeah - pretty much every single review for the game I read or watched made that point - it's a game by fans for fans.

so true, even dragging it out you’ll be lucky if you hit atleast 30hours before beating it, it’s criminally short .

I really enjoyed Robocop, though I played it on PC so never had any of the issues that are on console. Easily one of my favourite games this year and the last few levels are great

Older than I care to remember but have been gaming since owning a wooden Atari 2600 and played pretty much everything inbetween.
