I'm a dwarf IRL. The DualShock 3 controller was danged near perfect for me. The DualShock 4 controller was a little large, but manageable. The DualSense controller, on the other hand, is simply too large. My hands and forearms start to hurt if I use it for more than about a half hour. I've largely stopped using my PlayStation 5 as a result.
I've been looking for a smaller alternative controller to the DualSense, but haven't found one. Does anyone know of one? If not, I'm afraid that I may have to sell off my PS5 and buy a Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series controller is a little large too (more like the DualShock 4), but I do know that there are third party mini controllers available for the Xbox.
After a little bit of searching, this thread has some possibilities that might work for you. Seems as though the Victrix is built into a smaller shell, though how much smaller I don't know.
I'm surprised that this is such a widespread issue without a definitive solution. I have large hands, so don't have any issues with the size of the controller, but the slightly altered shape gives me hand cramp in my left hand and the haptics bother my hands, too, so I keepthat turned off. The PS4 controller was the best one they made in my opinion.
