Who is hyped for Street Fighter 6? 😎

Who are you all planning to main in Street Fighter VI?

I dunno , my characters in V were - birdie , rashid & lucia

but my overall street fighter mains are - cody , juri , and adon . nothing can top that holy trinity for me , but they ruined juri and cody so bad in SFV so i didn’t use them , and overtime i didn’t even really bother with SFV anymore ; i hate SFV .

i’m just hoping my 3 characters return and if they don’t , that i’ll still be able to find characters to replace them . i really , really , really want adon back though , he’s criminally underrated and is one of the strongest characters in the street fighter lore

@nomither6 Looks like Juri and Rashid are returning to 6 at launch.
I guess some of the others will probably be DLC.

SF5 never clicked with me either but I don't really have much history with the series. I've always been more of an SNK and ArcSys guy.
SF6 looks pretty awesome so far though.

@Voltan i don’t think SNK is big over here in the states ; growing up it was always street fighter , mortal kombat , and tekken that i usually heard about . I don’t think i’d be into SNK , but i did love blazblue from ArcSys though & DBFZ was fun for me for at least a couple of months .

Here’s to hoping SF6 delivers , it can’t be hard for it to be better than SFV so the future is bright .

@nomither6 To be fair, I definitely wouldn't get into SNK games if it wasn't for emulators. NeoGeo games ran great on PC but I know exactly 0 people who owned the actual console (and arcades weren't very popular anymore in the early 00's).

@Voltan @nomither6 Interesting discussion there about Capcom, SNK and the history you had with those 2. I've had history with Namco and Tekken, as I grew up to them mostly. Street Fighter V made me lose interest and enthusiasm to the series, but after the trailer and roster leak for Street Fighter VI, it did enough for me to get back into Street Fighter

I'm so excited for this. Going to get my Ryu tattoo touched up in anticipation.

I haven't had a look at any of the leaks so I don't know the full roster. But I normally main Ken (shoot me) or or Guy if he's in the game.

I also just bought EX fighting Layer as it was on sale. That's not a bad little game. Still maining Garuda in the EX games.

@TheIdleCritic shoot you ? if you insist ! the less ken mains the better ! it’ll increase character variety by 50% the other 45% being ryu 😂

I've never been in to fighting games really, probably not since the original SF2 decades ago (!)

But there is something about this game which is appealing to me.... plus I have a lot of faith in Capcom since loving RESI 7 & 8, as well as MH:Rise.

Also, Guile looks good with the beard, btw. Not sure about his clothes though.
