@Korra well it really doesnt matter what games Im interested in.

Im starting over fresh with getting a game for the Playstation 5.

@XandertheWise Returnal - IMO, still the best game on PS5 and a great showcase for what your new toy is capable of.

Challenging, but not impossible, a tremendous bullet-hell/roguelite with amazing moment-to-moment gameplay. Great use of controller haptics, and surround 3D-audio is impeccable.

Other more 'obvious' choices would be the Horizon games (Zero Darn and sequel Forbidden West), God of War games (2018 and sequel Ragnarok), Ghost of Tsushima (Directors Cut version with Iki Island DLC).... + Demons Souls remake.

***nb. look into subscribing to PS+ EXTRA... I think all/most of above are part of that subscription service***

When i got mine i used this site as it lists all games in order of score making it easy to sort the good from bad.

@XandertheWise It kind of matters what type of games you are into if you want suggestions of stuff you might actually enjoy 😅

Buuuuut games I personally really like and first played on PS5 (despite some being available on ps4 anyway): Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima, Stray, Guardians of the Galaxy (easily the best Marvel game of recent times, Spider-Man isn't really my cup of tea) The Witcher 3 (Ps5 update is worth it, just because) Cyberpunk 2077 is worth it on PS5 now that it works. Death Stranding Directors Cut.

Some are just games that perform a whole lot better on PS5 or look much better now, and have some quality of life improvements like no load times.

Then there's stuff like Resident Evil, Alan Wake 2, Returnal, God of War: Ragnarok, Demon's Souls, that I'm sure will impress.

Final Fantasy 16, which may or may not impress you, I mostly enjoyed it.

Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin are coming out soon, so not a bad time to get on board.

I would recommend “Ratchet and Clank”
Yes, it is short, but it is also brilliant.

And “Dead Space” - yes, I know it is a remake, but it is a very good one, and a great showcase for the PS5.

@XandertheWise Just like @CJD87 mentioned, do yourself a huge favor by subscribing to PS+ Extra as so many of the above games are on the service. It'll save you so much money.

My personal recommendation is Returnal as it showcased the capabilities of the new hardware and controller in a great way. Also can't forget to mention Astro's Playroom, which comes free with the system.

pretty much just third party games , any other of their exclusives can be played on ps4.

@LtSarge agree 100%... if you're new to the PS ecosystem, then PS+ Extra is insane value for money!
