Topic: Will it get hotter.

If i install a PS5 internal storage with a heatsink will the overal temperature of my PS5 get any hotter?

@Urnbak The impact will be negligible. Performance of flash memory degrades at lower temperatures then the APU and RAM of your PS5. That’s why the heat sink is required. It isn’t the hottest component of your system by any means.

NVMe drives work better when they are hot but you still need to maintain it's overall temp with a heatsink and passive cooling.
