I've been off here for a bit as felt I was spending a bit too much time in forums (generally) and I was, essentially, skiving at work while it was rather too busy for me to be replying to/commenting on every post/thread ad infinitum. But I'm back now - though with a bit less skiving
To the point though!
I'm sure you're all aware of the Days of Play competition by now (https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/campaigns/days-of-play-competition/).
Basically win a pretty tasty hardware haul plus £70 PSN credit every month for a year(!) by earning a PS4 trophy every day between 08/06/18 and 18/06/18.
Since it starts today (sign up by 10am!) I wondered if everyone eligible (apologies to our American brethren) has signed up and what your plans are for your trophy gathering?
I've had a copy of Doom still wrapped up for an age; should be a fairly casual get for a pretty much guaranteed run of trophies.
I'm going to limit the Days of Play trophy gathering to playing Doom. Put it on, get a trophy, turn it off and play something else until the next day and so on...
How about you?

@KALofKRYPTON Cool competition. Not sure I'll have time as I am away for work, and it states PS4 as opposed to Vita. Pretty good idea for a comp though.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Rudy_Manchego Yeah - I was thinking of running through some Vita stuff for it - but it wasn't until I checked the competition page this morning that I noticed that it had to be from PS4 games.

Not sure what I will do. Will check out GAME at lunch. If I can get HZD Complete Edition for £20ish that may be what I end up playing. If not, the backlog will certainly get a look in.
@Shellcore Good plan. Just checked GAME online, I didn't realise the base game was so cheap now! Or that there's a Watcher Totaku figure coming
I figure it's a good plan to have a game set aside for it. I stopped playing Mad Max a while ago and wanted to get back on that. But trophy acquisition will probably be a bit sporadic at this point.

@RogerRoger@KALofKRYPTON Funnily enough, went to GAME on my lunchbreak and found the complete edition new for £19.99. Score. Looking forward to playing it for the first time! Glad the trophy list is balanced. Remembered I have an overnighter with work on Wednesday, so will have to get a trophy close to popping and then cross the line the morning I leave...
@RogerRoger Awww... Thank you. Just too much time being unproductive.
Shame you can't get in on the comp'. I have no expectation of winning really - but it's fun to imagine buying (and not really playing) £70's worth of games every month! =D
@Shellcore Wow! Proper score!
I think I can manage it over the weekend. Only planning on staying over with the lady (not Airwolf) on Saturday; so Saturday morning Doom!
A couple of days in the week may require some pre-work trophy hunting though.
Just to make sure no one stops short - it is a trophy for the full 11 days 8-18.

Not sure I can manage a trophy a day on PS4 games alone. I'd have to rush through a lot of smaller games. Horizon does sound like a nice game to do, although I'm currently in the middle of God of War and don't really want to abandon it. :-/
I had no idea about this competition, but alas it's too late to sign up now. Since I enjoy playing Shadow of the Colossus in short bursts (no more than 1 colossus a day), it would have been quite easy for me to get the needed trophies.
I think it is worth mentioning the the sale is not just limited to the PS store, but across most outlets. I had an e-mail from Simply Games this morning promoting it for example.
Personally I prefer not to have my gaming dictated by something like trophies, but hope you guys manage to do it and have fun! 😀
@JohnnyShoulder
I don't mind. Gets me playing something more regularly.
Doom is great (as I'm sure everyone is already aware).
Played in to the second level late on then decided to try out multiplayer - which is also great. Very quake. Shame its loadout based rather than weapon pick up, but hey...
I had a 🏆 pop and thought it would take care of the 'need' to get one today...
