@JohnnyShoulder Easter weekend with two bank holidays and Final Fantasy VII Remake? It couldn't have worked out better. I'll stock up on Kettle Chips and Cherry Coke and then that's me.
@MightyDemon82 Haven't played the game since 2014 but I think the first 30 days are still free? So you don't have to worry about paying a subscription fee just yet. It is a great game, btw.
@Arugula to be honest they hold up just fine graphically so in the event PS5 is fully backwards compatible (I’m still betting they’ve figured out how to do PS3) they could well be playable in new gen hardware. Really not sure they need a remaster since they are already in high definition and that’s all they really did to the FF10 remaster.
Maybe they could remake them with a new story, characters and gameplay, though...
@Arugula yeah me too, I have only managed to get through it once, and I always thought I really enjoyed it. I’ve tried replaying it 4-5 times since and I can’t keep at it. There are entire sections that I despise, and the temples are awful.
@Arugula thye are also on the XB1 BC program so at the very least you can play them on there if you have one
plus they remastered all the cutscenes and improved the character models over the original 360 version and apparently MS paid for it so that's the reason they don't have a PS4 remaster
not sure how true that is though but it makes sense i mean why wouldn't Square release them on PS4 too unless there was some kind of deal going on

@kyleforrester87 Y’know, I think that would say a lot about society today if churches closed. They operated during the Black Death after all. Ah well, at least FF7R is almost here!
@JohnnyShoulder I’m gunna preorder it and pick it up at Game coz I have a voucher. But honestly, if something happened to stop me being able to get it on the day I’d buy it digital and then just return my physical copy once I got it.
@kyleforrester87 If it wasn't a double bank holiday and was released in the week, I'd get it delivered in the week to work. Just a bit para that it would go missing and then I'd have to buy it digitally any way.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
WARNING to anyone who has pre-ordered FFVII Remake through Amazon, amazon has announced that they are delaying deliveries of all none essensual items during the current health crisis and people have already started to get emails saying FFVII Remake delivery is being delayed
now currently it is ONLY in America but keep an eye on your emails and start looking into alternatives including dedicated gaming stores and ~shudder~ even the digital release (i feel ill saying that, getting a FF game as huge as this digitally, eggh)
