@Feena yeah i saw that one, i wonder if you can use both it and the Revival Earrings ant the same time and get 2 per fight?

@Feena Just wait until you have to play back to back Chapter 9 four times! It will change your opinion. However I didn't like it even in my first playthrough.

@ApostateMage In the one-on-one battles with Cloud you can use the ability of the final weapon. It makes all those battles so trivial that I tried them without using it and ... failed miserably.

@FullbringIchigo You can use both but there is no "cooling" period. If you get caught in the middle of combo you die anyway. This problem only seems to hit in the final boss though.

@belmont Is that Blade Burst with the Mythril Saber? I'll have to try that. The thing about that fight is trying to save MP from the 3 fights before it because it doesn't refresh for when you face Roche.

@ApostateMage No, it is Counterstance from Twin Stinger. I didn't want to spoil the name of the weapon initially. Just use the ability a bit before getting hit and it will counter doing a lot of damage.

@belmont Ah cool, thanks for the tip. Whenever I've tried Counterstance, the enemies always seemed to back off, crafty buggers.

@belmont I’ve just finished Chapter 9 and yeah, it did drag a bit. I just kinda felt that the characters barely even resembled FF characters, it felt like I had wandered into a completely different game. Don Corneo is a great modernisation though.

@Thrillho I tried for half hour last night (that was for all three difficulties) before giving up on pull ups. I will give it another couple of goes, but I'm not gonna break my back doing it.

@ApostateMage My favourite bit of new music is probably in the Sector with Aerith near her house. It was a bit weird with areas having new music but I think it suits it well, especially considering there’s actually daytime in this game.

Number two of the things I really wish they hadn't bothered with (after the robotic arms part)..

Anytime you have to use the equivalent of monkey bars. Urgh.
