Hi, does anyone here know of a good remuxer with a user friendly interface, that can batch or queue alot of remuxes at once?

If you do suggest a converter, please make sure it can copy the audio/video streams from MKVs and remux them into MP4s.

I literally have no clue what you even said, so um yeah. Don't cross the blue and red wire I guess.

@ToddlerNaruto: What you are describing is exactly what a converter does. Most converters have an option to keep the original mkv intact, so it is effectively just copying it and creating an mp4 with the output.

Personally I would suggest downloading vlc and following one of the many online tutorials for using that, should be dead simple

Edit: unless what you mean is you want to remix say the order of the video / audio. In which case there's no easy way I know of to do it during the conversion process, but you can just do it afterwards using a video editor

From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!

Which converters do you know of that have the copy feature for both video and audio streams?

Like I said just use VLC. The MP4 you get at the end will be exactly the same as the mkv was, just in the new format.

Why do you need to convert anyway? Just watch them with a program like VLC which plays .mkv files?

My PS3 can't play .mkv files, and I need my PS3 to watch shows on our HDTVs.

Yes I know I can stream mkvs with a media server, but I'm not interested.

Try XMedia Recode http://www.xmedia-recode.de/en/index.html

It can keep audio & video or convert either stream.
Lots of stuff this can do.

You can also use MkvToMp4 http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/340675-Mkv%D0%A2%D0%BEMp4-...
This one will let you embed in metadata and a cover art (For DLNA streaming - TwonkyMedia will show it on the PS3)

Another popular one is Handbrake but I don't know if it will keep anything or convert.
(Same thing with VLC it may not keep & want to convert)

I'll try XMedia Recode out, so thanks for recommendation.

MKVtoMP4 I love the interface, but I can't re-encode HE-AAC audio to LC-AAC audio with it.

Finally HandBrake, it's great but it doesn't let you keep the original streams.
