Topic: I can never understand GameFAQS sometimes

When it pertains to the Vita boards some people nitpick on others just for the sake of rationalizing the truth of the vita and some are just borderline trolling for the lulz.

I do not seem to think the same on this site, am I lost? :/

Edit: Is this with any other console that is performing poorly?

The GameFAQs community is renowned for that kind of thing. Poor moderation may be the reason that it's so rife. Pretty much all gaming forums can be intolerable at times, but I do enjoy reading NeoGAF when I have spare time. I think they do a good job keeping discussions on track there.

Yeah, it's all about keeping discussions on track and filtering out forums threads that are clearly going nowhere. I guess that's harder than it looks, though!

There is one guy who nitpicks at vita owners on that vita board because they are enjoying it and I Will not mention his name on here...

Edit: He seems pretty good at people pointing out he is a troll and tries his best to ignore it. I'm beginning to think that those people are pure elitists...
Also he posts hate on every vita game out there. :/

@ShogunRok:  Honestly if you have a good mod team its not that hard really as long as the mod team stays on top of things. 

Honestly I can't say why GameFaqs or IGN are they way that they are are maybe its because they are backed by big companies or something I dont know, but then again the only forums I usually go to are here and Pure Xbox.  Maybe it has something to do with the size of the community over there are GameFaqs but even that is not an excuse.  Its more then likely their are not enough mods or the mods just get tired of dealing with the overwhelming troll topics.

This kinda stuff is why I don't join a lot of game forums. This here is probably the only one I'm really a part of.

I usually lurk a forum a bit before choosing to join, mostly to see if it's members are any good. I don't enjoy being a part of communities of idiots. Some topics on gamefaqs can be pretty weird, but at least they're amusing. Sometimes they're just for fun, but I've seen really odd stuff.

I only ever bother with this place and now and then I'll have a browse the PS EU blog and on the odd occasion maybe a couple of times a month I'll have a gander at the ign vids on the ps4 app.

There is at least three people on the vita boards that would spew hate against the vita fans just because vita did not get any showings at E3 and GamesCom! :/ I also like that the fact they ignore that they are trolls and pretty good at saving face from that....
