I think the second season elavated Psyco-Pass to new levels, but it was more the grand scheme coming together than it being done better. I also just found out it extended beyond the second season. I thought it ended when what Netflix had did, but I just found more on Funimation. I'm definitely gonna have to watch it soon.
It's pretty much a rehash of everything Rumiko Takahashi has done before (now in 2015!), but as a fan of her style, that didn't bother me at all. Also, it was nice to see an anime that's neither dark/moody, ultra violent, or full of fanservice (not that I'm particularly against any of those things in anime, but it's nice to see something with more old fashioned sensibilities every once in awhile).
Oh, and they confirmed a season two for next year, so I have more to look forward to.

@TripleGK: loving it, while they made a few changes from the Manga they ain't huge and still work really well plus the DUB is fantastic a lot better than i thought it would be being only Netflix's second time dubbing an anime
Japanese version is great too
just waiting on season 2 now ^_^ (next year apparently, at least in Japan)

@TripleGK: perhaps that's why the split production instead of running continuously, wait for the Manga to have enough content to animate rather than overload it with filler

Started watching Godannar!! the other day, and it's been a real guilty pleasure.
It fun starts instantly with an epic opening song, followed by a barrage of giant fighting robot action, fanservice, and even fanservicy giant fighting robots (somehow) from beginning to end of each episode. Story has been nothing spectacular at this point (the pretty typical stuff so far), but it's been fun.

Parasyte: the Maxim - Missed first few minutes. Whoa, Shinichi sure has gotten strong. Can't wait to find out the cause of his new powers.
Michiko & Hatchin - Well, this episode sure was a... trainwreck. Okay, all puns aside, it finally looks like it's going to be heading into it's climax soon.
Naruto Shippuden - They are sure jumping into the next arc fast. Looks like they'll be facing off against an old foe back for more.
One Piece - They're finally setting off on a new adventure. Let's see where this goes.
They also had the second part of their Invasion II special, but I missed it.

Yeah, it's nice, especially since this particular anime block was nearly dead a few years ago, though it's seen a major resurgence these past few years.
It's on Adult Swim (the name of Cartoon Network's late night programming), and as recently as 2011 it got to the point as to where they'd only get one new anime a year (with no fanfare, as they stopped advertising the block), and most of their lineup consisted of anime they've had since as early as 2001 - 2005.
Luckily they gambled on bringing back the Toonami branding (used to be an after school anime/action block on daytime Cartoon Network that played a major role in popularizing anime in the U.S., especially with the super popular DBZ being on the block), and it worked wonders. They only have one anime that's not currently airing new episodes (Kill la Kill), and even that's only been shown once before, earlier this year. It's done so well that they've been able to keep their promise, and introduce a new show as soon as a current one ends (with popular shows getting one encore at the end of the block, which is why their showing Kill la Kill again. Previously it was Attack on Titan).

@TripleGK: no but i'm looking at it as one of my "To Watch" series

@TripleGK: i used to do that but funds are bit low right now so i can't afford to take those kind of risks now
although Crunchyroll, Daisuki and Viewster have allowed me to watch a lot more anime than i can afford to buy right now and check out a lot of shows i normally wouldn't watch
and i'm actually enjoying Utawarerumono False Masks quite a bit even though it's not normally the type of anime i go for

I just finished up Godannar!!! (yes, those first two exclamation points are in the title, lol)
It's a "super robot" show where giant robot pilots protect humanity from giant monsters (called Mimetic Beasts).
It has a sh**ton of fanservice (even a few of the robots have suggestive designs), but it'd be ridiculously fun even without it, and I give them props for not phoning the rest of the series in. The first half of the series is pretty standard "super robot" stuff, and though it doesn't stray from the general formula, it's a fun time. The second half actually gets pretty serious, and introduces a surprising enemy you won't see coming (the series also features a surprising amount of character development).
@TripleGK, as for Michiko & Hatchin, it has a different feel for an anime, I'll give it that. I'm invested enough in it that I hope that there's a happy conclusion for them, but I don't know if it's something I'd be eager to watch again once it's over.

this question may have already been asked but, What was everyone's FIRST ever Anime series, it would be interesting to see how or if peoples tastes in Anime have changed over the years
as for me the first one i saw was Pokemon (although at the time i didn't realise it was an anime, i just thought it was a normal cartoon)
i still watch it from time to time to see if or how it's changed
