This is my new absolute favourite show. I even like it more than Dr. Who. If you're only the slightest interested into dark/gothic/victorian fabulous and mysterious storytelling, watch this. The performance of the actors, the sets and costumes, the mood and music is all really really high value for a TV production. Eva Green steals the show easily and it's nice to see Josh Hartnett not in a "wuss"-role for once. Yeah, and the voice of Timothy Dalton... omg, he should narrate videogames or something. Just booming.
I know there are people of all different ages reading this, so just as a warning, if you're a minor, you might consult your parents before watching this. It's quite gory, has REALLY harsh language and yeah, people are also interacting in all sorts of (sexual) ways. Just saying.
For me this is a wonderful dramatic tale of the supernatural, set in a dark time in London (1891) and to me it reflects the "Abyss" of Mankind really well. This is no happy show, but SO enjoyable! Skeeve, watch this! You'll love it!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
Watched it up to episode 5 i think. After the 1st ep which was great it started to decline real bad I thought. Might watch the last few eps to see if it grabs my attention again!

There was only one episode that I thought to be a bit of a drag, but otherwise I can't see how it declined real bad. Anyways, tastes are tastes of course! Im just totally drawn into the setting and everything, it's like a PREQUEL to The Order, lol...
