I feel so bad every time I get pinged for this topic @PeaceSalad.
I always look over the conversations and what game is playing but I unfortunately never have anything to add considering I'm usually doing my own thing with games that are FAR too long for the club!

Probably should remove some other like General and Mundaney who seemingly haven't been on Push for months either? Hopefully that'll get the right people a ping then instead of dead/abandoned accounts??

Good Morning Gang! I’ll start by wishing you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Engagement hasn’t been the strongest recently but it is clear that our little club is beneficial to some of you and is definitely something worth continuing even if only two of us are playing the game. Thank you to Sol for suggesting a small pool of shorter games to re-inject some energy into proceedings, your support and contributions are invaluable.
Without further ado, your game for January 2025 is The Gardens Between
How long to beat puts your average game time to around 2 1/2 hours and describes the game as a surreal puzzle adventure that follows best friends, Arina and Frendt, as they fall into a mysterious world of beautiful garden islands. Manipulate time to solve puzzles and discover the secrets of each island.

@PeaceSalad Awesome! The game looks really charming and different. Based on the trailer it reminds me of Fez with a Oxenfree art style. I’ll download it and probably spend some time with it this weekend, or maybe next week. Certainly before the end of the month.
It looks like a really nice game to play between sessions of longer games when your brain needs a break.

I've already played this game, so I'll be sitting this one out. Don't know either how much I can contribute to the discussions as it was years since I played it. Hopefully everyone will enjoy it! I thought it was a decent puzzle game.
Well, I wasn’t expecting to finish the whole thing in one sitting last night but that’s exactly what happened. Utterly charming little puzzle game with just enough challenge to keep me engaged. The art style is fantastic and the attention to detail in all the little animations of the two kids and the environments were splendid and definitely showed how much love went into the game from which I understand is a pretty small team. I particularly enjoyed the soundtrack too, so I’ll be adding that into the rotation.
My console is telling me around 3 hours to platinum which would have been quicker if following a walkthrough, although I don’t really think that would be necessary outside a couple of the more obscure trophies.
5 Worlds done. I really like the art style of this one and the puzzles are not that challenging once you observe everything that is happening in the level.
I do like how the characters interact with the world. I think I will have this one done today.
This is going to be my first Platinum since 2023 lol
And done. What a lovely little game. Soundtrack was excellent, reminded me a little of Life is Strange.
It was a perfect game to play on the Portal too and my first Plat in 13 months! 😂

@PeaceSalad No plans for any more. I use to chase after the Platinum's, but felt it was ruining gaming for me. But if it is a fun and/or easy one, I may go for it. Who knows what the club will bring to the table this year
@PeaceSalad sounds like a game type I haven't played in awhile. I downloaded it from the PS App and gonna to start it tomorrow. Even if I am not a fan of the game as I play it, it being an easy Platinum will push me through it.
@ZeD Fair enough mate, it was a nice and breezy platinum. I even went back and got the platinum for the PS5 version this evening.
