Went to the store for some essentials and made a couple other random purchases. Got some new shampoo. I like the kind that feels minty and tingly on the scalp, so tried this tea tree oil and mint based kind; tried it this morning amd it was eh… fine. Needs more mint. 7/10
Also got some ice cream. Also vanilla. But vanilla bean actually, which is more vanilla-ey and less sugary than the other vanilla ice cream. Still, I like more variety; needs more chocolate - 7/10
Speaking of — I also got a bottle of the new(ish) Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola. Actually was better than expected. I still favor Cherry Coke, but this was a solid 7/10.

@Th3solution ….Orange Vanilla Coke? I’m always bemused by the mental flavours you lot get in the States. I’ll probably get a bottle for like £4 in one of those American candy shops that sell dirt cheap food at insane prices.
@nessisonett The soda flavor market has really expanded the last few years and entire side business soda stands are popping up where all they do is sell sodas with a variety of strange and exotic flavors added. But the practice of flavored sodas goes back pretty far with a fast food drive in restaurant named Sonic Drive-in, as well as a bunch of other mainline restaurants and even gas stations which offer fountain drinks where you can add a variety of flavors like vanilla, cherry, cranberry, lemon, chocolate, coconut, etc. Only recently though has Coca-Cola (and some of the other soda makers) embraced the side industry and actually bottle up some flavors for sale straight from them that way, with the Orange Vanilla being a newer one I’ve seen. It’s good. It tastes like you melted an orange creamsicle ice cream into your Coke. And yeah, a 16 oz bottle was a little over $1, same as a regular Coke basically. So if it sells for £4 that’s a big mark-up.

@nessisonett@Th3solution The only time I drink any kind of carbonated drink is when I mix it with booze. Dr. Pepper with some whiskey and ice is a nice, simple fave of mine. And it is alway the 'Zero' kind as I don't like the taste of the 'full fat' versions.

I didn't technically buy this, but was looking to buy one. Girlfriend's brother gifted me an old acoustic guitar of his so I can start learning. Talked about it with him a while ago and he fixed it up and let me have it for nothing. Been having fun learning, as tough as it is. I am determined to stick with it.
We are going to a music shop on Thursday to have a look at potential future upgrades and what my first electric guitar might be.
I bought a pack of brownie M&Ms, I'd never seen them before. They're basically small chunks of chocolate brownie encased in the usual sugar shells. Size wise, they're similar to peanut M&Ms, maybe slightly bigger. I enjoyed them, but not sure I'd get them again; I think I'd rather have either a proper brownie or a bag of regular M&Ms.
