@FullbringIchigo And in the physical releases for these games (and the other episodic games like Life is Strange also I think) don’t really even contain the actual games. Usually just the first episode and the disc functions as a “key” that allows you to download the rest of the episodes. So either way you will need to utilize PSN to get the game.
I’ll probably just pre-emptively download all the episodes of the Telltale games I own yet haven’t played and leave them on my drive until we know for sure.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@ReanSchwarzer7 What do you mean by that I 'keep spreading misinformation'?
What I meant to say was what @FullbringIchigo explained, some games get taken off PSN completely and you won't be able to download them again if you have previously deleted them.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@FullbringIchigo PT was a free demo though, nobody could complain their paid product was taken away. Can you imagine how much worse it would’ve been if people had paid for it and it got pulled? KONAMI might’ve gotten boycotted to death, and I’m not even joking. A demo being pull off like that and a paid game are two entirely different things. PT got taken away even if you downloaded it. People would lose their marbles if that happened here.
@Jaz007 Oh true the whole P.T thing would have been a lot worse if it was a paid product but it was the only game i could think of at the time that had been completely taken off PSN but the point still stands, it was a game released on PSN that you can no longer download even if you have beofre

Ok guys get derailing the thread please use this thread to discuss the Telltale situation. If you want to discuss digital vs physical there is a thread for that.
And for anyone freaking out, once you buy it it's yours to redownload as much as you want despite it being removed from the store. It only effects new sales. I have TMNT Arcade game on my Xbox 360 and have deleted that reinstalled that one I dont know how many times despite it being removed years ago
i wasn't trying to start a physical v digital debate here

@Tasuki Roger that! I just wanted to make sure that people know that they haven't lost any games that they have paid for. I didn't mean to turn it into a debate.
Telltale reportedly lays off the rest of its staff.
Last month, Telltale Games laid off the vast majority of its staff in what it called a "majority studio closure." But a group of 25 employees were to stay on in order to "fulfill obligations" to the company's board and partners. However, those employees now appear to have been let go too. As USgamer reports, narrative designer Rachel Noel tweeted today that she and the rest of the skeleton crew had just been laid off as well.
The few employees kept on board were working on wrapping up Minecraft: Story Mode for Netflix as well as the unfinished final season of The Walking Dead. However, last week, the studio temporarily removed the season from digital game stores, and today's layoffs don't bode well for either project.
