Yeah, that's a good point about the advertising.  Even if the ratings are somewhat decent, crappy advertising makes it a moot point.  Like I said, I'm not a huge TNA fan.  I followed it when Christian jumped ship, but I haven't followed it much since he left in late 2008.  But I also don't want it to shut down.  Even though it's not great competition, competition is good for the market.  I guess RoH may be able to really benefit from this, but only time will tell.  I'm sure TNA will be trying to get on with another channel if Spike indeed pulls the plug.  I'm not sure what other channels would take them, but an upstart channel might give them a shot.

The advantage here that TNA has that ECW didn't for example is there are plenty of options nowadays other then tv channels.  I mean heck if no channel decides to take them they can always just do a Youtube channel and show Impact that way.  Either that or start a streaming channel like WWE did with WWE Network.  Hopefully Dixie will be smart and look at those options as well.  Still if TNA does close down due to this, I am sure this would be a boon for Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling.

I'm sure Global Force Wrestling will turning into TNA 2.0 which would be pretty okay with Jarrett anyway.  Dixie should've sold to Jeff Jarrett when he offered.  I'm sure Jarrett has to be smiling a little deep down at this news, and he will surely scoop up half the TNA roster if it happens.

I still think TNA will work something out somehow, but you just never know in the wrestling business.

Well it wasn't really up to Dixie to sell TNA to Jeff that was up to her Father.  From what I heard Dixie's father would have sold TNA to Jeff if he would guarantee that Dixie had a say in it and couldn't be terminated.  Well since the whole idea of Jeff to buy TNA was to get Dixie out of there that deal was a no go so instead he just cut ties with TNA and created Global Force.

Jeff has stated several times that he has no qualms with the WWE and that he will entirely focus on competing with TNA.  He has said that he wants to be the number 2 wrestling company right behind WWE.  I honestly hope it works out for the guy.

I've been a wrestling fan since the early 90s.  Once the Attitude Era in the WWE ended I stopped watching for several years (not specifically because it ended, but more so because I had moved onto high school and then university and was interested in different things at the time.)  Every year though I would get back into it around Wrestlemania time just to see what was going on, and would then fall right back out it after Raw the next night.

Anyways, since Mania this year I have been following the WWE product fairly closely and I have been amazed at just how lifeless and quiet the live crowds are these days.  Nobody on the roster seems to have any heat and nobody in the crowd seems to care about anything happening either back stage or in the ring.  It's pathetic.  Even Hogan coming out at the end of Raw last week barely got a reaction.  Anybody who remembers the type of pops that Stone Cold and those boys got back in the Attitude Era must know what I'm talking about.  Crowds used to care.  They used to actually cheer and boo.  Now they just sit there.  I attended tapings of Raw is War back in the day and I can certainly attest to how loud we were.

I probably sound like an old man here, stuck living in the past and ranting about the good ol' days, but I'm fine with that.

My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."

Wow I really enjoyed this year's Summer Slam.  Really liked the Rollins/Ambrose fight the best but the Wyatt/Jericho one was really good too and the Reigns/Orton one as well.

I espeically liked watching Lesnar destroy Cena.  Eat, Sleep, Conquer indeed.

Surprised they had Cena lose. I just hope now that Lesnar sticks around for a real title run, not like what The Rock did when he had his return title run.

WWE is famous for taking stuff in real life and creating a storyline in the WWE about it.  I mean back in the 80's when Hulk Hogan won his first title he won it from the Iron Shiek at the high for the whole business with Iran hostages.  Then during the whole Gulf War thing they had an angle where Sargent Slaughter  became an Iraqi sympathizer.

Now the big thing in the news going on is the whole Russia invading Ukraine stuff so WWE is pulling off of that for Swagger and Rusev.

Yes and agreed. I have definitely enjoyed the shows too thus far. It's hard to think about how long ago some events really were in the grand scheme.

WWE 2K15 has been delayed on PS4 and Xbox One to November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, 2K has announced.

The next-gen installment in the popular franchise was originally expected on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will still launch on those dates.

The Monday Night Wars series has been fun to watch for sure.  It's a little different than I expected, but it's still fun to go down memory lane.  They haven't focused as much on the WCW side of things the last few episodes, but I'm sure they know what they're doing.

NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way was great as expected.  I'm not sure it was as good as their last two events like it, but the main event was a Match of the Year candidate for sure.  I'm hoping we see The Ascension move up to RAW/SD, and I'm hoping we get a legit Zayn/Neville feud for a few months.

The last month of RAW has been less than spectacular, and I'm hoping Night of Champions doesn't suffer because of it.  There aren't many interesting storylines going right now, and that definitely needs to change in a hurry.  I'm interested to see what will be next for Brock Lesnar, and it will be nice to get Dean Ambrose back soon.  They also seem to be lost on what to do with Bray Wyatt which isn't a good thing.  He needs something legit as he's too talented not to be used the right way.  He adds a lot to any show.

Lastly, the three-week delay of the PS4/One versions of WWE 2K15 doesn't bother me too much as long as they use that time to tweak the game for the better.  I know they can't do much in that time, but every little bit will help.  It will also provide a little break between NBA 2K15 and WWE 2K15 for me if I end up getting both.  I'll definitely be getting WWE 2K15, but I'm not 100% sure I'll get an NBA game for a bit.

Yeah I agree the last few episodes of The Monday Night Wars has been a little WWE heavy but I think that was because they were showing what WWE did to climb back on top.  The first few episodes were WCW heavy cause it was showing how they took the top spot for all those weeks.  Once they were on top they nearly didn't have to work and try out new things as much as the WWE had to to regain the position.

As for Dean Ambrose he will be out for awhile, he was written off so he could make a movie, but still the same I can't wait for his return.

The only problem I have with 2K moving the release date for WWE 2K15 is that now its the same day as GTA V on PS4  which doesn't help me.
