Topic: E3 2016 -OT-

E3 is a couple of months away, which got me thinking.

What do you hope is announced at the event?

1. Nintendo NX in all it's glory.
2. Phantasy Star Online 2 localised worldwide
3. Dark Cloud 3

Red Dead sequel, PS4 WipEout, announcements from Sony's studios (Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, Bend)... Maybe a little more info on Horizon Zero Dawn would be good.

Outside of PlayStation, I'm hoping we finally see Nintendo's NX console. I'd also like some more info on the new Pokemon games, and I'm always interested to see Nintendo's other first party stuff.

I wonder what Ubisoft will be showing? With no new Assassins Creed this year, and The Division, Trackmania, FC Primal and Rainbow Six Siege are all out, what will they be bringing to E3? I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff

Same as every E3 - A mix of new IP's and the return of favourites too as well as new information/game-play about titles we already know will be releasing. I don't really like seeing 3rd Party exclusivity deals and them showcasing on a 'console' briefing - I don't agree with these either. Things like seeing the new CoD or Destiny on Sony's briefing - its not as if these games are 'exclusive' to Sony - just have a small 'timed' content. I prefer to see purely Sony games at a Sony briefing, same with MS and its Xbox briefing.

In terms of Hardware, I really do expect Sony to announce its PS4k (if it hasn't already with all the current speculation) and showcase PSVR. I expect MS to announce it XB1-4K model too - if anyone needs to, its MS!! And yes I would buy it too!

I haven't had any interest in Nintendo since the Wii and that waned very quickly but I would look and see what NX can deliver.

I don't really have a Wishlist - that way I cannot be 'disappointed' if these aren't met. I doubt I will be 'happy' with all announcements as certain games/genres etc have little to no appeal. I will watch the majority of the briefings and read up on the rest.

We should do an E3 sweepstake or something lol.
As far as I'm concerned, Crash returns, new Horizon gameplay and PS4k isn't a more powerful console.

@adf86: Wasn't there one last year? I'm pretty sure I gambled on Gran Turismo and won. The rest of my predictions were frankly rubbish.

@BAMozzy: @Shellcore: Yeah the NX should be interesting, I've decided to hold off on a wii u and see if this things backwards compatible.

@WanderingBullet: Ni no kuni and Persona 5 releasing around the same time as ff15 could be interesting.

@Quintumply: That's a good point about ubi, there's nothing left in the tank. Do you honestly believe we will see another Wipeout HD? That would probably make E3 for me but I cant see it happening.

@dryrain: Errrrr what? That was released ages ago wasn't it.

@themcnoisy: Yeah, but I think the West will only get Ni no Kuni 2 next year. Same goes for Valkyria: Azure Revolution and Dragon Quest XI (granted if DQXI gets released either this year or 2017 in Japan).

I don't really have a wishlist, as most of my ''wishes'' are expected to happen. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to a new Zelda U trailer; more info on already announced games like The Last Guardian and Horizon. Hopefully we'll get a lot of new games. That's what I want to see most I think; new stuff; big games and indie games, doesn't matter as long as it surprises me in a good way.

For PS4...new Jak and Daxter, Kingdom Hearts 3 Finally!, new Grandia, release date for New Hot Shots Golf, a new Twisted Metal and to see what the next God Of War and Devil May Cry will be about.

For Nintendo...the next console and some other goodies for Wii U before it passes away (more than just Zelda and Paper Mario and retail games, not indies).

Other than that, my E3 will be mostly to see what Nintendo has up its sleeves for their next console, and if it would be worth it to buy it on day one, or wait to see.

Am I asking for too much?

I feel like I'm asking for a lot, but here goes:

1. Kingdom Hearts 3 - trailer and release frame of 2017. Saying "Now in Development" won't cut it this year. Also, 2.8 release date/window.
2. While we're on the square jrpg train, FFVII remake episode one release in 2017 with a new trailer (with mostly the same footage). We'll also hear how far episode 1 goes to. It'll need to be spaced a little from KH3.
3. Elder Scrolls 6 announced - released in late 2017 - doubtful, but you never know! Fallout 3 was released in 2009 (I think) and Skyrim was released in 2011. Also more Fallout DLC.
4. Horizon and Last Guardian still on pace for 2016 - release windows given.
5. Infamous Second Son sequel announced! 2016 or 2017 release date.
6. Nintendo NX reveal (release in 2016?)
7. Zelda U trailer - also coming to NX.
8. Reorganization of PS Plus program - no more vita games, one extra ps4 game.
9. I'm up with this guy above me - PS4 of Stardew Valley
10. Crash Bandicoot

1. K.H. 2.8 confirmed for worldwide simultaneous release in 2016 and we finally get to see Aqua's face rendered on unreal 4
2. K.H. 3 confirmed for 2017 some new worlds announced
3. Rise of the Tomb Rider PS4 release date and confirmation that i'll be $40.00 and include all DLC
4. Mass Effect Andromeda details
5. Persona 5 release date

1. A new Crash Bandicoot platformer being developed by someone good.
2. More news and gameplay of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
3. XCom 2 announced for PS4
4. Kojima's new game will be Silent Hills but with a different name (or possibly Sony bought the licence!)
5. Details on the NX (hopefully it'll be a beefcake in terms of power and is a home console/handheld hybrid!)
6. Nintendo to reveal more new IPs headed by younger designers
7. A full Pokemon RPG on NX with a Dark Souls online/offline play system.
8. Paper Mario Color Splash is binned and a sequel to Thousand Year Door replaces it.
9. Konami apologises for everything.
10. Shawn Layden comes on stage dressed only in Crash Bandicoot boxer shorts.

I predict no ps4k at e3. Revisions are never revealed at e3 from Sony.
