Topic: Your favorite video game characters

What are your favorite video game characters, here are mine:

5. Gravity Rush's Kat (she's only been in one game but she's totally adorable)
4. Kingdom Heart's Roxas (He just looks too damn badass when dual wielding keyblades, hence my nickname)
3. Naoto from Persona 4 (I'm a sucker for androgynous girls)
2. Phoenix Wright (Wish being a lawyer was really about pointing fingers and identifying contradictions)
1. Mila for Dead or Alive 5 (well she's my main on the only fighting game I do not totally suck at so she's the game characters I've spend the most time playing at, plus totally love her character design, not so much the english voice though)

Well my top one is my Avatar pic and that is Sylvanas Windrunner from World of Warcraft. I love her back story and the whole tragedy and how it made her who she is now.

There are more of course but those first come to mind. There are so many guys in games that I end up finding female characters more interesting. It's one of the reasons I can't wait for Horizon Zero Dawn.

Kat from Gravity Rush was an amazing character, in my opinion! One of my favourites, along with Nathan Drake, Ezio Auditore di Firenze, and, though it may be an odd choice, seeing as he was an actual historical person in addition to being a video game character, Nagamasa Azai form Samurai Warriors.

I've just been on a Dark Souls II binge, and I have to say that in a series filled with standout characters if you look for them, Raime the Fume Knight is a fantastic one, in addition to being one of the toughest boss fights I've ever had, so I'm pretty high on him right now too

I really like Claptrap from Borderlands 1 (dunno what he's like in the other games). I just found him a very funny character myself.
Ellie from TLOU is also a great character, I think "very human" would be a good way to describe her.
Morrigan and Varric from Dragon Age are pretty good too.

@Splat yeah I was pretty disappointed we didn't see more of her in inquisition

How could I forget Clem? She's one of my favs as well.

@Splat: I do hope we see her again in future TWD titles, probably not the next one I'm guessing, would be amazing if they wrote her into the TV show.

@unionjack3rd: I prefered Dylan who was Dizzys cousin. He was a hippy egg.

@alphadrago5: I love kotor who was the robot from the first one who was proper evil? He was my favourite character.

While there definitely are some things I like about Lulu more than Yuna, I think the awesomeness of the summons is what puts her over the edge for me (plus I love the traditionally Japanese design of her clothing). I mean, there's a certain special summon that can single handedly outclass the final boss (well, up until the point you aren't allowed to summon anymore).

As for Taki & Ivy, I've just never been a big fan of Ivy's fighting style for whatever reason (and Taki has the whole ninja thing going on, of course).

Too many to list, I've been gaming since I was 5 years old. If I had to choose, it would be Ayame and Rikimaru from the Tenchu series, as well as Okami Amaterasu from Okami. Three others would be Kiryuu Kazuma, Akiyama Shun, and Majima Gorou from the Ryuu ga Gotoku (Yakuza) series.

@themcnoisy: You mean HK-47 from KOTOR. Yeah he was absolutely awesome. Even more so in the second one. He has so many memorable quotes

@themcnoisy Can't believe you're disputing Zell when I also picked Tidus. I was expecting a storm for that.

I just kinda liked Zell more. He gives a good balance to Squall's personality, his limit break is cool and since I build him like a powerhouse, he's real handy in tough fights.

@alphadrago5: Boom HK-47, I think he was semi copied again in mass effect as Legion. Boss lines and the complete opposite of c3po.

@DerMeister: The Tidus I'm running with currently on the Vita is my weakest character, I am playing with the international grid and tried to boost his magic a touch by going east and slightly south - changed my mind to head north towards curaga. To cut a long story short Tidus HP is 1470 whilst everybody else are sat between 2600-5000. His Agility is low and he hasn't got many status changing effects so he practically sits out every fight. Pants.

Zell on the other hand was always useful. On my current ff8 run ge was easily my best character upto the jail in the desert bit - mostly down to level. But still gets used behind Squall and Quistis due to the levels being reduced as I'm levelling down!! I'm a massive fan and play 8 every year. Only other RPGs that I play loads are Disgaea 2 and Shining Force 2.
