Topic: Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate

Arkham Origins for current gen and a portable '2.5D' spinoff made by some of the Metroid Prime team due in October.

I do hope the Vita game isn't just a 3DS port. And of course, that it's good.

I am psyched for both versions.

While the console game isn't being made by Rocksteady- it's WB Montreal, they do have all of Rocksteady's assets regarding the Arkham games.

It will be a 3ds port... Like always... @%#@&$ 3DS ports

If it's just a 3DS port I won't even bother. It's too bad that two Arkham games get announced today and I'm not really loking forward to either, I'd be much more interested to know what Rocksteady is workng on even if it's not Batman.

It's always shady when something is announced yet there's nothing to really show for it yet.

I have hope that it turns out well, same for the console Arkham Origins.

Yeah, not a good sign at all. Both Asylum and City were given a year's worth of hype before release. This announcement comes just a mere 6 months ahead of time and with nothing but a trailer of the developers talking about how they were handed the project.

Still need more than a few screens but to be fair it doesn't look atrocious, still I have yet to be impressed by a Vita port of a 3DS game.

But it will have trophies at least! That will make it better than the 3DS version...right? Yeah...I know that was a lame point.

The game doesn't look too pretty, and I bet the 3DS port is gonna look even worst.
And the people behind Metroid Prime, never made a 2D Metroid games, so I'm not sure how this is gonna turn out.

Anyone get the feeling that this game for 3DS and Vita won't sell as much to increase the install base into either? =/

I don't know about this. I just don't really think the style fits a 2D game judging from the screenshots. It seems like a lot of things will be easily missed. And the 3DS version will look even worse...
