Just bought it for PS3 an AMAZING GAME.
My favorite first person shooter till date.
Good to know you guys are going to be able to play it on the go
I wonder how they are going to map the buttons after all BL2 uses all the buttons from the dualshock 3.

I played the second one a bit over at a friends house (we both picked it up when XBLA had a great sale on it) and I have to say I like the first one better overall.  I don't know why but there is just a feeling with the first one thats not there with the second one.  I like how the second one has more of a storyline than the first one but the first one just seemed grittier.  I don't know its just hard to explain.

I actually clapped when this was announced. It was that much of a suprise lol Ive still yet to play Borderlands 2, after Gearbox's treatment of Colonial Marines I got a bit pissty, so Ill be waiting for the Vita version to dive in. Actually really looking forward to this release for Vita

Don't wait for the Vita one, get it now. As in change the web page to Amazon or whoever and buy it now. You won't regret it. Only Red Dead is a better game on PS3/360 for me. Superb, addictive, funny and has Tiny Tina in it. Buy it now.

Well Ill pick this one up for sure, I have it for my 360 already and stopped playing after a while as it got tiresome, but for the Vita, on the go and playing it in bed, awesome.
There's only one game that I'd prefer to this on Vita which would make a PERFECT appearance... DIABLO 3!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.

Well perhaps you could stream the PS4 version of D3 to your Vita when that comes out.

Now, in order to celebrate the launch of the Game of the Year Edition, we wanted to do something special. Starting next Friday, October 11th, Gearbox Software and 2K will be hosting the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt.
In partnership with the folks here at PlayStation, Turtle Beach, NVIDIA, and BradyGames, 2K and Gearbox will be giving away tons of weekly prizes — including a grand prize of $50,000 in cold hard cash.

We'll also have four weekly cash prizes (worth a combined $50,000), along with incredible loot like PlayStation Vitas, and copies of Borderlands 2 Vita when it's released. Check out the official website for a full list of prizes.
And of course, in addition to all that, you'll also be able to get unique and legendary drops just by completing in-game objectives! And don't be surprised if during the course of all this some of the bajillion weapons on Pandora suddenly become even more powerful.
