... wouldn't it have been better to make a little device that your Vita can sync to and from there you connect it via HDMI to your TV? You'd use your Vita as controller, have the real estate of your TV and the sound of your home-system and there wouldn't be a problem with touch controls on dualshock and no separation of the market but a new incentive to buy Vitas because its more versatile than any other handheld.
I mean, I don't want to rain on anyones parade just want to get your feedback, I wonder why no one has done something like this yet as it is something that could be done easily and clearly has a market. I guess my final argument would just be: PS Vita TV seems to sell like hotcakes in Japan, thats fine, but wouldn't it be better if all those Vita TVs were Vitas?

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
They shoud make both the HDMI device for Vita and Vita TV. So PS Vita owners don't have the need to get a Vita TV for this matter and people that don't have a Vita get to play few games and be able to stream PS4 games through it
So basicly best would be just make PS Vita TV with the ability to sync your Vita as controller, pushing this even further you could even have a 2-screen experience then and have an awkwardly huge 2DS then!

That still wouldn't be the best option for those who already own a Vita and simply want the option to use a $5 cable to connect to TV.

True that! Which would be the way I'd want to have it, but yeah... mass appeal and all

I am wishing that the Vita could use Google's Chromecast. You would think that they could at least make the Youtube and Netflix apps work.
I know I would also be dreaming if they would let us cast the games video as they would have to work with Google on that one.
Maybe the should and get Google Hangout apps to vs Skype and ditch Microsoft.
It would also be nice if we could have a remote play in reverse app for the PS4 where we could play with the vita but see it on the TV. If they do I would like to use the Vita as the remote so all the apps would be supported.
