Topic: The Jak & Daxter Trilogy

It will be released this month. As for myself, I'm only familiar with the first part of the series, which I owned when I had the good ol' PS2. I very much enjoyed that game.

It's a good series but I won't be buying it again. 2 and 3 play much different than 1, which can be good or bad.

Let me guess; It goes from a pure platform game into a more of a 3rd person shooter-series?

I would happily buy the first game again for the Vita, but none of the others are quite that good IMO.

A somewhat GTA style third person shooter yes. But it's still not bad really, just a big change.

Hmmm, guess there's only one way to find out...

I had it on pre-order but cancelled after looking at the trailer again... some dodgy framerates in there.  And I saw a tweet from another website from E3 about how they were seeing how long it was going to take to break the game.....

I am a fan of Naughty Dog, but I have never played a Jak and Daxter game before except for 'Daxter' on the PSP (which I really enjoyed a lot), so I am probably going to pick this trilogy up in a couple months when the price goes down to about $20 or so.
