I scratched my Vita a few weeks ago, which really frustrated me as I'm constantly cleaning all my consoles, ensuring there isn't a spec of dust on any of them. The scratch wasn't huge, but it was visable on the upper half of the Vita just above the screen. Basically the black paint (metallic casing or whatever) had been chipped off, meaning there was a white line which was very distracting. I've been checking on the Vita pretty much every day and kept noticing how each day the mark would get smaller, and smaller, and smaller... and now it appears to have completely vanished. It's not as if this happened suddenly either; my constant monitoring of the thing made sure of that. Just wondering how exactly that was possible. D:
But really, Sony should be sure to use this in an advertising campaign! Vita - the portable which looks after itself!
I use r/c car body shine on my handhelds/iPods and it pretty much makes everything go away. I've had scratches on my iPod and 3DS I thought were permanent but somehow the body polish takes them off. I don't understand how your Vita regenerated itself though. haha
