Tsushima's combat looked a little bit off to me but the setting is beautiful. If Zhang Yimou were to direct a samurai movie this is what it will probably look like.haha
@Octane Haha. I'm hoping the Avengers game will be four players like Anthem too. Of cause, gameplay wise the different superpowers will present a difficult problem for the developers but hey, a man can only dream.
Or an Rocksteady Arkham style game where you'll get to play a different character depending on the chapter. I'm hoping that it doesn't turn out to be a Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light or Marvel Ultimate Alliance type game, though.
I wasn't impressed by tlou 2 as it looked too much like tomb raider and gameplay is literally the same as in the previous game, at least from that demo. Graphics are great but that's it.
Death stranding looks very interesting but there are too many question marks.
The biggest problem with this conference is that we didn't get any new release dates. Not even release windows! So I'm sure we will watch some of these games for at least one more E3 and possibly even more...
I said we needed to know more about Death Stranding at this point, I don't think they showed enough. But it was a typical Kojima trailer. He'll keep you guessing until the end, and then some.
the Sony conference, it was good but the new format didn't work properly
for me it's all about the games and much like the MS event there was only a few games that appealed to me so I would rank them about the same (if i gave them a number it would be 6/10 for both) but i like the fact the the big games got more focus, while the MS one was about showing as many games as possible, this one was about showing the games themselves off, both formats work but for me i would rather see a small bunch of games with gameplay rather than a loads of games without much gameplay
although i was surprised by the Resident Evil 2 Remake trailer, i didn't expect that at all
as for the Square Enix presentation, well that wasn't really a conference i don't think we should judge it as such but it was short and i liked the focus on just the games but i would have like to see more game play, not just trailers so a 5/10
as for the Microsoft conference again it was good but i think i explained my thoughts in the previous posts so no point going over it again
now for Ubisoft, another good event but if i'm honest not a huge amount of games that interested me apart from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, shame it still looks to have that stupid level system though AND while the ability to choose a character is good in terms of the story, which is the "canon" character if both are doing the same story and filling the same role then they can't both be canon (let me explain, in the series you experience the memories of your ancestors so if you can choose who it was this game then how does that tie into the overall story, if you choose the female character for example but in the next game they say it was the male one then it breaks the immersion) and Beyond Good and Evil 2 but in terms of content and again while it didn't appeal, it was well put together and had plenty of games so a 5/10
now then EA oh EA you said the right things like "No Loot Boxes" but DAMN was it full of dumb moments too, not accidental ones like the Sony one but that whole Madden thing, who gives a crap about "Young Kiv", WHO THE HELL IS YOUNG KIV? and as for the Star Wars stuff, yeah announce Clone Was content for BF2 and not show it! just drop the name of a brand new Star Wars game like it was nothing!
also quick question but what the hell is going on with Battlefield V, it's the sequel to Battlefield One right so why is it called V (or 5) wouldn't it be Battlefield Two but if your using the numbers then BFOne would actually be BFV because there was a BF4 before it so BFV should be BFVI, over all 3/10
now Bethesda well that's easy i didn't watch it because they don't make any games that interest me, don't care for Elder Scrolls and don't care for Fallout
overall this year all of E3 has been pretty "meh"
"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"
"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
@Knuckles-Fajita just giving my thoughts on what i have seen so far but i'll wait until at least Nintendo has done theirs before i make a commitment about who "won" E3 for me

I loved E3 this year. Loads of new IP, loads of great games and Death Stranding looks amazing! Altogether I would grade E3 2018 - 8/10 so far.
We will see PS5 next year woop woop.

@kyleforrester87 This dismissive attitude probably isnt good. They are competing whether we think so or not. Just because their games arent AAA doesnt mean they arent.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
@Knuckles-Fajita all forms of entertainment are competing with one another for our time, to be fair.
Fact is a lot of people see Nintendo systems as complimentary to a Sony or MS machine.
Back when Vita was a thing, it was competing with 3DS, at least in its early years. I don't see Switch and PS4 on the same playing field, in the West, at any rate.
Think it has been a good e3 for games so far and there is still have a few days left. Not every game I've been interested in but i
was expecting that to happen anyway. I couldn't care less for the conferences or who 'won' E3. That crap got boring years ago.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
If you don't care about who won E3, you aint doing it properly IMO.
It's the one time of the year when you should release your inner fanboy for a couple of days, and sh*t all over every ones carefully choreographed and super expensive press conferences.
