@Octane What do you mean how will you play them on your phone? How do you play any game on your phone, tablet etc. I mean they do have that deal with DeNA or whatever it was called. And when it comes to stockholders you'd be surprised as number one is a big problem in their eyes.
I am just saying streaming and sub base systems are the big thing now and I wouldn't be surprised to see Nintendo jumping on that, after all didn't they say at one point that they wouldn't be bringing their IPS to mobile and now look.
I mean yeah the rep can be full of manure but it's possible he isn't. The way you are talking is that it won't happen but honestly I can see it happening in some way sooner then not at all.

@Tasuki My phones doesn't have any buttons. How can I play Super Mario 64 on it?
It's actually pretty interesting if you read what Iwata said. For a while he maintained the position that Nintendo had no plans for releasing games on mobile devices. He never said that wouldn't happen. He also said: "We feel that simply releasing our games just as they are on smart devices would not provide the best entertainment for smart devices, so we are not going to take any approach of this nature,". Then again, I fail to see the point, because they never talked about a streaming service. Anyway, yes subscriptions are a big thing, but how many stream games for a realistic price and are actually popular right now? The only one I can think of is PS Now, and that seems to be forever stuck in a beta state, and it's pretty expensive too.
And about that rep. I just think that even if Nintendo is planning on releasing a VC streaming service, he wouldn't be the one to know about it, he certainly wouldn't be the one allowed to speak about it. That's why I don't give him much credit, because when it comes to future plans, these guys don't know more than we do.
@Octane Phones and tablets have virtual buttons on the touch screen. I am guessing you don't play games on your phone. They have ported Knights of the Old Republic and other game to iOS and Droid so it's not unheard of games like Super Mario 64 on the phone or tablet.
@Tasuki Because this looks comfortable to play and responsive?
There's a reason why Nintendo avoided bringing the classic Super Mario Bros. gameplay to phones and instead opted for a simpler endless runner that can be controlled with a single tap on the screen.
Anyway onto another subject concerning the Switch, I got a $20 eShop card for my birthday and need some suggestions on what to get. Just no multiplatform games like Stardew Valley or Axiom Verge as I already have them on PS4 and want something I don't have already.

@Tasuki I don't know, I haven't played it yet. But it's basically FAST Racing NEO + extra content. It depends on whether you've played Wii U version I guess.
If this is true about VC, so glad that i still have my Wii U then, but i would love Gamecube games on Virtual Console as well, sigh...
Nintendo should have released a remaster of Super Mario Sunshine on Wii U, just like they did with The Wind Waker.
@Tasuki FAST RMX is great. 1080p over 720p, new cars, 5 new tracks, all the tracks and DLC from RMX, and on top of that they just added 6 free new tracks in an update.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
@Tasuki I see, well if you already played the Wii U version, the Switch version may be of less interest to you. What about Golf Story? It's exclusive, and it looks pretty good. I haven't played it yet, but I do plan on getting it some day. Mario Odyssey comes first though.
So, what little we've seen of SMT V looks great so far. Really anxious for a release window, though: this is, far and away, the game I'm most excited about on the platform.
Currently Playing: Fields of Mistria (PC); Cookie Clicker (PC); Metaphor: ReFantazio (PC); Overboard! (PC)
Shin Megami Tensei V is coming to Nintendo Switch, looks like it will be exclusive.
I never played Shin Megami, looks like that Persona is a spinoff of SMT, right? I really loved Persona 5, one of the best games that i ever played it, now it's time to play SMT.
@PS_Nation One of the things I liked about Persona 5 is how it reintroduced some core SMT features that were lost in previous Persona games. Like more of a focus on unique dungeons, the use of guns in combat, and, of course, the most famous aspect of SMT: demon negotiations.
Persona is funny, stylish, and psychological whereas SMT is more dark, philosophical, and apocalyptic.
