So this is a thread to discuss anything non Sony related about E3.
Nintendo did a shocker I will have to say announcing and releasing Mother on the Wii U VC service. For those of you unfamiliar with Mother it is the prequel to Earthbound that was almost released in the West as Earthbound on the NES. However due to the release of the SNES and Nintendo wanting to push that it was cancelled even though it was translated and everything.
Anyway it's now called Earthbound Beginnings. I have to say for Nintendo to release this without any clue was a complete shock.

Well so far E3 MS briefing is interesting. Wasn't keen on Halo 5, ReCore was a surprise but want to see more - BACKWARDS compatibility and can download digital titles from 360 to XB1!! A scuff like controller - free EA Access this week, Fallout 3 free with Fallout 4 (although I do still have my 360 copy...) The Division and early beta access, free Rainbow Six games with Seige, Rise of the Tomb Raider game play, preview programme including Day-Z, RARE REPLAY!!!! 30 Games!!!! A new Rare game, Fable Legends (F2P with PC too), VR partnerships with Valve and Oculus Rift (although not really interested in VR), Minecraft for Hololens - which looked interesting - especially if the images look solid and not see through, Unfortunately only GoW remastered - not the trilogy - almost pointless with backwards compatibility, A new GoW game....
Backwards compatibility will make a lot of remasters redundant and great to be able to play online with those on 360 and liked the 'scuff' type controller....
Interesting and a good briefing - Lets see what Sony bring us now....
No COD on Xbox, moved to Sony?
Backwards compatibility is huge and a massive middle finger at Sony making us pay to play PS Now.
Cuphead looks amazing.
The Metroid Prime-dev game Recore looks fun.
Rare's game looks genuinely poor.
Gauntlet thrown down. Bar a lull around Forza (hate car games) it kept my interest, even during games I don't like (Halo, Gears, etc). Better than the last few Sony shows, easily.
Backwards compatibility is another great plus for them. It's a no brainer really, makes Sony look silly for not having it and even worse for trying to replace it with Now.

CoD looks like its not tied to any console - no branding anywhere but we will see
The Backwards compatibility is a biggie and the new 'scuff' type controller too.
Didn't think much to the ID games - cuphead has a nice art style but the game play looks generic
Rares new game didn't look great but Rares 30 games looked great!!!!
ReCore looked interesting!
Halo 5 didn't grab my attention, Gears (the new one) will be bought but overall a good briefing for MS and Xbox users - Hope Sony deliver for us PS users to the same (or better) level....

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
Ok so BO3 is on Sony (XB1 pre-order cancelled and re-ordered for PS4)
Only Horizon and Uncharted 4 appealed of the 'exclusives' and all I can say is WOW at that uncharted car chase!!!
But Destiny, Batman and Battlefront looked good.
No mention of Backwards compatibility or Scuff type controller - or equivalents.

Street Fighter V is also an exclusive as well as FF VII Remaster

I wasn't overly impressed with MS' show but the one that I really wanted to see deliver because it's just behind MGS V at the top of my list for 2015 was Halo 5 and I think it looks awesome. Also highly impressed by Tomb Raider and it looks like Gears of War 4 is in good hands with the new studio.

As I said - ONLY Horizon and Uncharted 4 appealed to ME of the exclusives. I can't stand 'fighting' games and SF5 is no exception. I never enjoyed the Final Fantasy games either but I gathered from the trailer that it could be a 'timed' exclusive as it said 'play it first on PS' - alluding to the fact that it could come to other formats at some point. That doesn't mean that these were the ONLY exclusives but just the ones that interested me.
This is my opinion - neither right nor wrong - but just where my interests and gaming preference lies. I know it may well be different to your but equally valid opinion and gaming choices but I cannot and will not speak for you. Good job there is a variety of different games to cater for different tastes....
