Topic: Official Push Square Xbox Thread

So I have a question that I hope someone can answer here regarding the 360. My son has a 360 and so do I, both have gold. Now I noticed on the 360 there is an option to download a profile. Does this mean I can download my profile along with my achievements, and gold standing to his 360 and vise verse so we can both play on one system online? The reason I ask is because we only have one copy of Black Ops 2 and both want to play online together but want to keep our progression.

@Tasuki: You can have your profile on each 360. Your Gold account is linked to your profile and not your Xbox, same as achievements etc too. Its all linked to your profile. MP progression is stored on Activisions servers, not your xbox so your progression should be on any console you sign into. My son had his Xbox account on my Xbox. I don't know if you can sign in and play 'split screen' together though on different accounts on the 360 - if memory serves correctly, that is something that couldn't be done on last gen technology - only 1 profile at a time can be signed in. It used to annoy my Son too that he was 'limited' to my 'progression' - especially if I had recently prestiged...

@BAMozzy: Ah ok thanks, so ot might just be better if I get him his own copy then. At last that way we would each have our own screen

I still haven't had the chance to jump into a current gen system, so right now I'm focusing on rebuilding a 7th gen library, and at the moment, the 360 has been what I've been focusing the most on.

I'll say, of all the 360 games I've bought since rebuilding my library, there hasn't been a single one I've been disappointed by, even when I step outside my comfort zone.

So far I have Red Dead Redemption, Zone of the Enders HD Collection, Metal Gear Rising, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Tales of Vesperia (my current favorite on the system), and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (currently playing, my first experience with the series, and despite some growing pains, I'm actually quite liking it).

I've just picked up Doom in the sale for a not unreasonable £35. Looking forward to giving that a go after work tonight.

@crippyd: i played the demo on XB1, it was fun but i haven't got round to buying it yet as i have to get my XB1 games digitally and i still need to pick up a XBOX money card (i don't put my details on XBL or PSN)

@crippyd: From what I have heard Doom is freakin fantastic, I have yet too buy it (Right now I just have too many games going on, Black Ops 3, Overwatch on PS4 Black Ops 2, L4D2 and Gears 2 on 360) but I did play the demo and enjoyed it alot. Maybe I will pick it up around holiday time. Let us know how you like it!!!

@Tasuki: To be fair I have a feeling a lot of us might come around this site in general now that pX is gone. I came here occasionally when I had just gotten my 360, but when Pure Xbox came I rarely came around anymore. Nice to see we have a thread here.

you will find round here most people are just gamers who just so happen to use PlayStation as their main system and are quite respectful to others and their opinions

although like any group you will find some who border on the obsessive and attack just because you don't share their opinions but this is the internet and when you can hide behind a screen and get no real repercussion for your words or actions that is to be expected

ignore them and you will have a great time here

@Tasuki @Fullbringlchigo I didn't get to try Doom last night as my console needed a reboot and hadn't started the install so I will hopefully get a try tonight.

@crippyd: Ugh lol the one thing that annoyes me must about current gen consoles and games. You're really hyped to play that new game get home put the disc in and BAM something has to install, update patch etc.

I ran into that a week ago when I got Until Dawn so annoying.

Anyway mate hopefully tonight you will get to slay some demons!!

@Tasuki is it the same for PS4? Really appreciate the warm welcome here from you. I hope that there can be more Xbox related interactions as pX's demise has left quite a hole in the internet for a few of us.

Sorry if this is a bit of a spam post but I just bought myself an Xbox One as a secondary console! Got Ori, Halo MCC and Witcher 2 to start me off. Looking forward to having both PS4 and Xbone libraries to chose from now

@crippyd: Yeah its a trend with gaming this gen sadly, heck even the Wii U is guilty of it, I remember getting Smash Bros and having to do a day one patch. >:[

What's even more annoying is the 500 gb HDD that both Sony and MS decided to have on launch day PS4 and Xbox One but that's a gripe for another day, which I did make a thread about lol. At least MS let's you use an external drive.

And it's no problem man glad to have you around. In all we are all just one big family.

@Tasuki Got some time on Doom last night and it is BRUTAL! Very fast movement and frantic gameplay but very entertaining. I only played about an hour so I barely scratched the surface but it looks like one I'll enjoy.

@crippyd: Yeah that's what I have been hearing from alot of people. It's not a game that you can stand around and "camp". Fast pace and always moving, alot like the original. As I said before, I played the demo and enjoyed it alot. It's on sale right now at a store in my area, I just might have to pick it up.
