I need a bit of help from you guys. I have a day one One and I have it in instant on mode but recently it has required that I power cycle it far more than I think I should have to. The main indicator is that the controller won't connect to the console so holding the power button down until the power light on the brick turns to orange from white and then starting the console sorts this out. It is more a minor frustration but I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue?
@crippyd: I wish I could help but I don't own an Xbox One. The only thing I can suggest if the controller isn't connecting then try another one and see what happens.

@crippyd: could just be a sync issue, try re-syncing it and the updating the controllers firmware, see if that helps

@Tasuki@Fullbringlchigo Thanks for the relies, I think it must have been the heat as it has sorted itself out!
I'm currently trying to finish off Halo 5 on Solo Legendary, I'm on to the last level and this game has given me some headaches! It seems almost as insanely hard as Halo 2 and that was something else.
I have no idea how someone could play any Halo game on Legendary. I had a hard enough time getting through certain areas on normal in Halo Anniversary (takes a better gamer than me I guess, lol).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@RR529 the trick is to build up to it by playing through on normal, heroic and then legendary and the difficulty doesn't seem so hard or just play loads of Halo 😁
Any word on new BC titles or newsworthy, well, news? Without Pure Xbox I am lacking in my news gathering.
I see Sonic 4 was added and Crystal Warriors and Capcom Arcade Cabinet. Anything else in the pipeline?

@JaxonH there has been another 8 titles added (can't remember what they unfortunately). If you have Twitter follow Major Nelson as he always puts stuff like that in his feed.

Well, I have now beaten Halo 5 Solo Legendary, it's taken a while and the penultimate level has a horrendous difficulty spike but I'm through and done! I need to have a go at the co op stuff and online to try and hoover up some more achievements.
August's Games with Gold lineup for Xbox One includes: Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and WWE 2K16. For Xbox 360 owners (and through Xbox One backward compatibility), August kicks off with Sperlunky, followed by Beyond Good and Evil HD.

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
@BAMozzy Well that's 4 games I've never played, so more to add to my backlog!
Not interested in the XB1 titles - least of all the wrestling one! Spelunky, I guess, could be OK for what it is, doesn't greatly appeal but with procedurally generated levels, its got replayability. I already have Beyond Good and Evil and its not a bad game. I wonder if it's going to precede some announcement of the long awaited sequel?

It does seem to be the way of GwG doesn't it. I've had some great milage out of the GwG program and I'll happily give most things a try. I'm not a real fan of the 8/16 bit graphic styles on current gen hardware but if the gameplay is good I'll at least give it a try.
I have Splunky already on the PS4 when they gave it away for free awhile back. I never played Beyond Good ad Evil so I will check that one out and I have WWE 2K16 for PS4. Warriors I will probably lock in so when I do get an Xbox One I can try it out.

Anyone got the new update? Loving my new IR emitter, in addition to turning my TV on and off with the Xbox it's great for the new ability to use voice commands from my headset (you don't need to grant Cortana access to your profile to use her). The games UI is much more dense and offers additional sorting options along with an Updates section which I find to be particularly helpful as I have my Xbox One in Energy-saving mode. So many more things added too. What do you think?
@KratosMD: Spiderman 2 is an awesome game all around, I can even count how many hours I logged on that game on the Gamecube. It's definitely one of the best Superhero games ever.
Back to the Xbox Project Gotham is a great series it's one of those that I wish they would make a new entry in the series but with Bizarre gone I don't see that happening.
Some of my favorites games on the OG Box are
Crimson Skies — Great if you like games like Star Fox.
Soul Caliber II — Yes it's multiplatform but if you don't have it it's a good choice.
Dungeon and Dragons Heroes — Great if you like dungeon crawlers like Diablo
Knight of the Old Republic — Both one and two are must haves.
If I think of some more I will post them.
