@RogerRoger Thanks, but at the moment, no. I know it sounds silly since it wasn't cheap to buy, but given all of the other games I have to play along with it, I will try to pick up where I left off (which I think is slightly passed the halfway point). If it doesn't seem to be working out for one reason or another (like trying to get a handle on the gameplay again at a point where I'm clearly supposed to know what I'm doing), then I will restart so it's not a miserable experience.

Years after updating my other components to meet modern standards, I've finally obtained a modern GPU (an RX 6650 XT). Now I have the requisite hardware to play a bunch of the AAA games I'll likely continue ignoring anyway.
With that said, I'm now starting Cyberpunk 2077, and although I'm finding it a bit hard to get into, the game is running beautifully on high settings. Might also try Returnal at some point, although my main reason for upgrading was to prepare for Starfield.

Picked up Final Fantasy IV Pixal Remaster on the Switch. I have been wanting to play this one again for awhile now, and confession time is the only Final Fantasy game I have never beat, well out of the good Final Fantasy games. I have seen others beat it but I never did. Time to change that.

Bought Sniper Elite 4 on Xbox One. Played a bit of Sniper Elite V2 and got absolutely hooked, so I decided to buy this game. Apparently it's one of the best entries in the series, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
@LtSarge I’ve recently purchased this, V2 and Strange Brigade after a largely positive experience with ZA4, if they’re half as fun as that then I’ll be happy. Let me know how you fare.

Met up with an old friend yesterday and we got chatting about the Infamous series. My ex girlfriend was really into these at the time so I’ve always felt like I’d ‘played’ them in a way but he convinced me to play through them myself, so I grabbed a copy on the way home for a whopping £2.50 👍 apparently the gameplay hasn’t aged particularly well but the story is solid.

@AgentCooper I also bought Zombie Army 4 and Sniper Elite 5. Along with Zombie Army Trilogy, I think I'm pretty much set with these games. Don't know when I'll get around to them, but I might continue my playthrough of V2 in the near future since it was so much fun.
Did you buy the first inFAMOUS on PS3? That one probably hasn't aged as well as the second game but I still remember having a blast with it.
During the weekend, I was in a mood to buy some games and wanted to get some unique titles. I decided then to go for some visual novels and by pure coincidence, all of them ended up being Japanese horror VNs, lol.
I got some PS4 games but I'd rather write one post instead of another one in the other thread about these purchases. Anyway, so I bought Death Mark and Raging Loop on PS4 as well as The Letter and Scar of the Doll on Switch. I've been eyeing the first two titles for a long time and while it would've been nice to get them on Switch, there simply weren't any in stock. So I'll have to settle with playing them through Remote Play on Vita, which is still nice. Both games look very interesting so I'm looking forward to playing them.
I haven't seen much about the latter two. I have heard praise about The Letter and it's on sale now for €10. Given that the game is 20+ hours, I think it was worth buying it. There's not much about Scar of the Doll online, but I decided to give it a chance anyway to see if it's any good.
Well, I definitely won't have a shortage of horror VNs to play lol. Which is good to know in case I get through Paranormasight and I want to play more horror VNs.
@RogerRoger well it’s been dispatched… which is more than happened last time 😅
I don’t know a great deal about the game tbh apart from the fact that it’s an obsidian RPG based within the world of espionage (tbh that’s all I need to know 😁). Really interested by your comment about its potential vs its execution. As the game seems to be somewhat of an enigma, maybe I’ll dust off the typewriter and write my second ever reader review. 🤓
Just bought Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp and Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling on Switch for roughly €10 each. It's been a long time I've played anything Danganronpa so I'm actually looking forward to seeing all the characters again even if it's not a traditional Danganronpa game. I've also wanted to get Bug Fables for a long time now seeing as how it's a Paper Mario clone and for €10, I felt like it was finally time to buy it.
I also bought The Coma: Recut and The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters on Switch for roughly €3 in total earlier this week. I've been interested in checking out these games but they've always cost a bit too much for my taste. For around €1 each though, it doesn't get better than that.
@LtSarge Let me know what you think of The Coma games. I've been eyeing them an extremely long time (ever since the original launched on Steam years back), but have just never gotten around to buying them.
@Ralizah Will do! I'm honestly not expecting too much from them, but they still look like intriguing games. There aren't many 2D survival horror titles either. So hopefully I'll get some enjoyment out of them!
It's weird. As cheap as they've gone, and as long as I've eyed them, you would think I'd have taken the plunge by now. But I've just never been tipped over the edge, so to speak.
I didn't get on with Bug Fables, but I know a lot of people love it. Hopefully you enjoy it more than I did.

Picked up Cyberpunk 2077 on Series X since I had some rewards points built up. It cost me £4.99 in the end so I’m pretty happy with that. I’ve been waiting years to play it but have been put off with all the whohar around it. It’s looking like it’ll be my winter game unless Starfield swallows all my time.

Just preordered Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE on Switch. Fairly excited for this one. Only fairly because I want it to deliver a memorable experience like the Danganronpa games but I don't know if it will. So I'll keep my expectations tempered.
