Ive started using my PC a lot more lately (built a modest system that seems to play games pretty well) but Im having trouble coming across decent people to add to my list on Steam, must be that 'eliteist' attitude some have lol When not playing Skyrim etc Im playing Star Trek online a lot, but couldn't resist the free download of the absaloute gem that is Team Fortress 2. A new Co-op mode was added not too long ago called mann vs machine which is basically a 6 player wave/survival mode. Anyone interested? The Co-op is good for loot on TF2

Im pretty much just playing Star Trek Online and Team Fortress 2 at the moment (was thinking of trying Warframe) and I could do wth picking up some games to be honest but I got burnt pretty bad with my last PC purchase lol I got Dead Island riptide and in all honesty its a joke of a game. One you get shipwrecked, your just playing Dead Island...all...over...again...
Warframe was OK, the interface killed it for me. Always been super picky with interface in games. makes or breaks it for me. Also couldn't get the setting I wanted to work.
I've only got a couple of friends on Steam, and I've only got a couple of games (Skyrim and Fallout 3) but I generally find they're all I need on it. I'm not on my PC too often, but when I am it's usually for hours at a time.

I might download it later seen as its only a few GB. Ive heard it has issues with DirectX11 tho from a post or 2 in the community section but I could just ignore that lol Im slowly getting used to the whole PC interface in games. Deosnt seem as slick as consoles to me as Ive not been gaming on the PC for a while. Skyrim used to be dreadful before it got patched on PC as it only let me browse menu's with arrow keys, so I swiched to the X360 controller but its now been patched n I can browse menu's with a mouse.
Im thinking of picking up Aliens Colonial Marines. I know...I know lol I tried it at a friends on PC ,post patch of course, and it deosnt seem anywhere near as bad as the console version although having to edit the .ini file to enable DX10 mode was baffling Its only £20 for the collectors edition, Id probably pay that just for the model it comes with. Anyone fancy a bug hunt if you got it?
The Orange Box is a must-have for any steam user. Also Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, Spiral Knights, and Defense Grid: Awakening is good.
You still play Spiral Knights? That was one of the first games I tried on Steam. Actually enjoyed it till I got stuck lol Had to find a certain item to create a weapon but no matter how much grinding I did I could never find it Might install it again n give it another try
I have an Steam account but never used it after discovering that my current laptop isn't able to play DOTA 2 or Team Fortress 2 T_T. After the long install and wait it was an epic deception. Epic-ZX was my steam name.

I actually don't play it regularly but I'll hop on every once in awhile, especially since I got the Metal Sonic armor
Just thought id give this thread a BUMP! Any of you guys considering trying Aliens Colinial Marines? I picked it up a week ago and on PC I think it deserves to win a 'Most Improved' game of the year award lol IM being serious. Compared to at launch its far, far better with vastly improved graphics and a hell of a lot less bugs (game bugs not xeno's ) It is a shame that the console versions dont seem to be getting as many of these improvements tho. My nephew wants to play it but his PC is nowhere near good enough so he's gotta get it on Ps3.
Theres been some absaloute bargains on steam lately. Deus Ex:Human revolution for £3.74!? Unreal deal Pack for £5.75!? lol I need to get some money on my Steam account pronto
Ive come across this on polygon and with not knowing where to put it I thought id bring it here so people can discuss. The Warframe devs are looking into doing Cross-platform online if Sony allow it. Since Ive got a controller for my PC ive been enjoying Warframe more and with it looking oddly better in the E3 trailers, Ill probably migrate to the Ps4 version at launch. Its free anyway what do you fellow Steam users think of this?
