Topic: The Movemodo 3DS Fan/Hype Thread

I made this topic so we can hype over the 3DS. By the end of this month, we will know the release date of the 3DS. I am hoping the 3DS is released before the end of this year, it looks so freaking awesome! So, who is looking forward to the 3DS? What 3DS games are you most hyped about? The games I am looking forward to the most are Kid Icarus:Uprising, Ocarina of Time 3DS, Star Fox 64 3DS, Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Metal Gear Solid 3DS. Discuss your thoughts here.

I just hope there will be plenty of games that don't rely too heavily on the 3D. 3D hurts my eyes and it's just a lame gimmick anyways. I just want it to be an improved version of the DS.

With that said, there are plenty of name brands coming to the system, including games from my favorite niche developers, so I will be looking forward to it.

I was planning on waiting for the inevitable redesign, but the other day I read the article about it in NP, and it got me really hyped. I guess it depends on the price, if I'll get it or not.

I have $250 with me for when the price is announced!
It's kinda getting in the way of me getting Other M and Epic Yarn though.

Not sure if I'll be getting it on launch day yet but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I'm with SilentJ -- depending on when launch day is and how much it's going to cost, I may or may not have the money to pick it up. Definitely looking forward to it, though :3

Really glad today is the big announcement, but I'd be surprise of this new handheld breaks the 250 mark.

Sweet, March is going to be an awesome month! The games look awesome, there is going to be a Virtual Handheld, and DSiWare will be somewhat transferable! I don't care if it is $300, I'm buying this on day one!

Can't wait for this!  I'm going to save up over Christmas.

My birthday is in February, I'll be asking for €500 for my birthday just so I can get the 3DS when it comes out one month later!

I'll get it the day Gaijin Awesome Game comes out and no sooner.

Im buying day one with a trade in of my DSi wich I despise so much and no not even the fantastic Shantae can fix that one. DSi to me was a pointless upgrade wich I wouldnt have made.

Actually, considering its been polled and proven time and over in the last year that a LOT of guys/gals in there 20-30s who are and have been Nintendo fans and migragted to the PS3 as well as still owning Nintendo of course. I fall into this category myself. I think a lot of your same PS3 owners who bought Move will be there buying 3DS as well Heck, I might even work an extra day of overtime to buy a few extra games with my 3DS. Well, now that I think of it I prob still wont lol. ;P

.... oh and Im fingers and legs crossed that Metal Gear 3D is a reality and not just the demo at E3.
