You guys all know what a bucket list is, right? Basically, a list of things to do before you die. I'm sure that if any of us have one, there's at least one thing that has to do with gaming. This is a thread dedicated to all of the things we want to do in gaming before we can't mash our buttons anymore, run out of quarters and ascend to that great arcade in the sky.
It doesn't have to be an accomplishment either, it can also be games that you never played and really want to before time's up.
I'll start us off with my bucket list-
Games I want to play
-Final Fantasy 7 & 9
-Every Zelda not named Link to the Past or Wind Waker
-Splinter Cell
-Shenmue
-Jet Set Radio Future
-Super Mario Sunshine
-Persona 1 & 2
-Classic Mega Man
-Parappa the Rapper
-Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade
-Fire Emblem before Path of Radiance
-Golden Sun
-Forza
-Legend of Dragoon
-Metroid, Star Fox, Kirby, any Nintendo franchise not named Mario or Pokemon
-The World Ends With You (or at least own a copy of it, I did kinda play it)
-Wipeout
Things I want to do
-Get every platinum relic in Crash 3
-Beat 5 JRPG superbosses without exploits
-100% at least one JRPG
-Beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts to avenge my lost childhood years
-Speedrun at least one game
-Get Big Boss rank in MGS4
-Have 50 platinum trophies
What's your gaming bucket list? Please share!

@DerMeister good topic mate. I'm giving up hard-core gaming in about 12 months and getting back into making music and hopefully making my own game. So nows a great time to write a bucket list.

Finish Persona 5, Uncharted 4, Yakuza Zero, Wipeout, Tekken and Sonic Mania.
PS Vita
Finish Steins Gate, Dangaronpa, Lumines and Darius burst cs mode.
X360
Replay Burnout Paradise, Mass Effect 2 and Halo Reach
Wii / Gamecube
Replay Super Monkey Ball and Timesplitters 2
Legacy Systems
Finish all 96 levels on super Mario world
Finish cannon fodder
Finish fantasy world dizzy
Finish master league in Pes 4
And last of all;
Rocket League Tournament for one last hurrah and the last ever best game ever forum poll.
PS3 Megathread 2019: The Last of Us
Multiplat 2018: Horizon Zero Dawn
Nintendo 2017: Super Mario Bros 3
Playstation 2016: Uncharted 2
Multiplat 2015: Final Fantasy 7
-Play all the Metal Gear Solid games (never played one, but own them all)
-Play all the mainline Final Fantasy games
-Play Disgaea 5 (Bought it at launch, 1 year before I even had a PS4. Requires crazy time commitment)
-Platinum Uncharted 1-4

-Clear my backlog. At last count, 46 PS4 games, 127 PSVita games to go...
Nintendo (once they bring out a platform I can get behind):
-Play all the Pokemon games from Pokemon Black/White onwards
-Play Zelda BOTW (I kind of have to one day with that Metascore)
-Finish Super Mario World (I was 4 when I got my SNES!)

Dies, Died, Will Die.

I don't see the point in me having a 'bucket' list. I am not going to say I need to play 'x' game, get 'y' platinum trophy etc as I tend to look more to the future as opposed to looking back at the past.
Chances are, if I haven't got the Platinum by now, then I won't ever get the platinum in that game (and couldn't care less about that anyway). Any games I haven't played, there was a reason and that reason is that it wasn't important to me then and it isn't important to me now. All the games I REALLY want to play, I have and bought at or around launch.
I am more looking forward to the 'next' game(s) than looking back at the 'past' and games I have either not played, not finished or not 100% completed the trophies/achievements. Often there is a reason these games went unfinished, didn't buy or didn't complete the full trophy list - mostly because I wasn't enjoying or didn't like the game.
I can't say I want to beat and or platinum future games like RDR2 or Days Gone for example either as they or their trophies may not appeal that much when they finally arrive.

I'd love to finish every game I own but it always seems unlikely and with more good games coming out every week the "backlog" just gets bigger and bigger.
Hmmm I'd agree with @BAMozzy that I don't really have a bucket list as what I like changes regularly and I never know when a new game will come out that will rock my world.
I have a few things I think I ought/would like to do but never seem to get around to:
1) I really need to try and complete P4G. Only a few hours in and I like it but I seem to get distracted. Might try playing a bit in my lunch hour.
2) Bloodborne - the difficulty/time required to play through is a bit at odds with the time I have to play (I like to feel like I am getting somewhere on each gaming session I get) but I love the artstyle and what I have read about it.
3) Change my blooming PSN ID if Sony will ever let me.
4) Try VR porn on the PSVR. So sue me, but having a family and little time and VR giving you complete sensory deprivation to the outside world, this is probably as dangerous a thrill ride as I can manage.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@themcnoisy I refuse to believe you can truly give up hardcore gaming, but if you do, that better not mean you leave us all. The forums would look naked if you did.
@Fight_Teza_Fight I don't know how you can own MGS and never play it, but it is a series I recommend for anyone to at least try. It's probably my favorite non-platformer series. I myself should also finish Super Mario World. I was at the same age when I first played it, and I have never finished it.
@BAMozzy That's perfectly fine. Part of the reason I made one myself though is because there are many games I've missed or came out before I was born or while I was an infant. Hence the amount of old games I've got listed. Of course, there's 20+ years between us, so you probably saw many of those games launch.
@roe It can be pretty hard, yeah. I don't really have a backlog, but there's a lot of games releasing at a good rate, with many good ones too. It's easy to feel overwhelmed.
@Rudy_Manchego Just don't get caught with your pants down.

@DerMeister Lol - Probably!! I think for most of those I was in my Mid 20's with kids running around and not only saw them the first time round but then again when my kids inherited my old consoles. It was quite fun for example teaching my 3yr old in the mid 2000's to play SM64 and then watching in amazement as he beat the game within a few weeks or so - he was too young for my Original Xbox and games I had for that when I bought my 360 - so got to see these games a second time - that was 13years ago now... now I feel old!! cheers!!!

@DerMeister I got gifted MGS4 and got MGS5 Ground Zeroes through PS Plus. At that point I thought I may as well pick up the Legacy Collection for my vita and get into the series. Got MGS5 on a sale after.
Long story short. Own all the games, just no time to play them. Hopefully I will one day.

@Fight_Teza_Fight MGS 3 was the game which pulled me into the series on PS2 (the complete version with online stuff subtitled Subsistence edition maybe?) before going back for the others. I played it solidly for 3 days and my imagination caught fire. It was outstanding. Amazing characters, story, 3 standout individual sections which still to this day blow my mind and deeper game mechanics than most other games at the time.
But don't play it on Vita, it's horrible to control without the L2 and R2 triggers. The archaic first person view combined with the clumsy close quarters combat have aged terribly. Throw this in with Vitas big weakness with action games (small control stick, buttons too close to other buttons etc) and it's a lesson in frustration. Avoid!
I would recommend jumping straight into MGS 4 or MGS 5. Unfortunately the nostalgic throw backs and easter eggs will fly over your head, some of these are very subtle and well made. But I couldn't recommend playing the older games on Vita it's not worth torturing yourself.

@themcnoisy Man that sucks. I'll probably try it one day just to see how it actually plays on vita. If I have to set up the PS3 for MGS4 I may as well pick up the legacy collection for PS3 or just watch all the cutscenes. Still hoping all the games make it to PS4 someday.

@DerMeister Lol - that is the danger aspect of it.
This thread though has motivated me to bring my Vita into work and try and get P4G done in small daily bites. We'll see if anyone will leave me alone long enough to play!
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Fight_Teza_Fight Yeah the MG games do suck on the Vita. But i replayed them all on the PS3 a couple years ago and they are fine on that machine. Might help that I know MGS1 and 2 inside out though.
But if you only play one it should be MGS1 in my opinion. 3 is fine standalone but it's not my personal favourite. 4 is kinda cool but I don't see how someone could enjoy that without having played the rest. 5 is...its own thing lol.
@Fight_Teza_Fight@kyleforrester87 Personally, both MGS1 and 3 are pretty good places to start, I think. 2 heavily references 1 and has more weight to it if you play 1 first, and 4 I would only recommend to MGS fans, since the plot is very heavy on what happened before it, not to mention a whole chapter of MGS1 fanservice.
Definitely get Legacy Collection on PS3 if you can, just be warned that you will need to adapt to some archaic control.

@KratosMD we can add as we go and keep tabs. I've only put games I 100% will play again and have access to and know are achievable and I really want to play. I'm easing off gaming at some point next year so want to attain this list at least!

I've got one goal on my bucket list, finally get the last trophy for The Binding of Isaac Rebirth on PS4 which will get me the platinum. All I need to do is beat Mega Satan as the Lost.
@Simon_Fitzgerald your comments just reminded me that I was always more of a rogue legacy fan than binding of Isaac which are similar games imo. I never beat all 4 neo versions of the bosses on that and depending on how quick I can beat my list I may throw that into the mix.
I may even put down to play a 2 player VR game with you bro. Hopefully Santa is nice to me this year!
