No strings attached
Pretty much from the moment that Coldwood Interactive's creative director, Martin Sahlin, took to the stage during EA's E3 2015 press conference, we had a good feeling about Unravel. Sure, Sahlin was very visibly nervous, but it was in an endearing way, and if anything, made our early impressions of the game even more positive...

Feature The 10 Best PS4 Soundtracks of 2016
Hitting the right notes
Another year gone. Times flies, doesn't it? 2016 may have been, erm, less than stellar in a lot of respects, but the games industry was by no means one of the problems. Quality reigned supreme across so many titles it's hard to keep track. Not to be left behind, though, was the music from these games, which delivered some top...
Round Up Unravel PS4 Reviews Reveal EA's Epic Yarn
String thing
Yarny, the now iconic Unravel protagonist, stole hearts at E3 last year – and he's about to, well, unravel his inaugural yarn on your PlayStation 4. EA opted not to send us this one, so you're going to have to make do with other assessments until we post our own. The response seems mixed, mind – as you may have anticipated...
Gamescom 2015 Unravel Three Minutes of EA's Cute PS4 Puzzle Platformer
Spin a Yarny
Unravel, the upcoming puzzle platformer from Swedish studio Coldwood, continues to look unbearably adorable. A brand new demo shown during EA's big Gamescom 2015 presser showed protagonist Yarny attempting to navigate a borderline photorealistic beach environment. The rising tide makes things difficult for our fabric friend, but by...
About The Game
Unravel is a game all about overcoming obstacles, both big and small.
Some challenges are simple, like using Yarny's thread to swing across a gap, or rappel down a tree. Sometimes things get more complex, and players will need to use Yarny's thread in clever and creative ways to find the path forward.
Whatever the case, no feat is too big for Yarny. Along the way, witness him unlock a heartfelt story about love and longing, and the ties that bind. The tale is told completely without words and Yarny is the red thread that runs through it all.

What the heck is with the last level? Ridiculously frustrating.
