Pumpkin Jack: New-Gen Edition (PS5)
$5.99/£4.99 (-80%)
Heavily inspired by classic PlayStation properties like MediEvil and Jak & Daxter, Pumpkin Jack is a delightfully old-school style action platformer. Featuring colourful environments, responsive controls, and simple combat, it's the kind of lighthearted fun that's all too rare these days. Playing as the titular Jack, you traverse through Halloween-themed locations, engaging with spooky baddies and solving some straightforward puzzles. It all comes together to deliver a solid experience that harkens back to a simpler time, and we mean that as a positive thing.
Resident Evil (PS4)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
The remaster of arguably one of the greatest remakes of all time: there may have only been six years between Resident Evil and its jaw-dropping GameCube revival, but Capcom packed an entire generation of progress into this technical tour-de-force. The game’s mansion remains utterly iconic, a character unto itself, and with tense survival action and some smartly designed puzzles, this PS4 port is a must-play if you missed it in 2002.
Resident Evil 2 (PS5)
$9.99/£8.74 (-75%)
The differences between Resident Evil 2 on PS4 and PS5 are few and far between, but its everlasting quality remains. This is still a spectacular remake of the 1998 survival horror classic, modernising Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield's first adventure with a third-person camera and vastly updated visuals. The Raccoon Police Department has never looked more terrifying with a native 4K resolution and ray tracing on PS5, so leave enough room to peek over the covers and experience one of the best horror experiences around.

Resident Evil 4 (2005)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
What more can be said about Resident Evil 4? Now available on PS4, this is an absolute classic third-person action game, combining the series' horror themes with blood-pumping combat sequences. While it shows its age today, there's no questioning this game's importance and influence, and it remains a fun, intense experience whether you've played it a thousand times or never before.
Silent Hill 2 (PS5)
$48.99/£41.99 (-30%)
Comfortably one of the greatest remakes around — especially when you narrow it down to the survival horror genre — Silent Hill 2 is a triumph of a resurrection from Bloober Team and Konami. The vast majority of the original PS2 masterpiece is faithfully brought back with modern visuals and gameplay design, and then expanded upon in all the right ways with bigger areas to explore and then new endings. Silent Hill 2 remains just as incredible as it did back in 2001 thanks to the delicate and appreciated work of Bloober Team.
Sniper Elite 5 (PS5)
$14.99/£13.74 (-75%)
Not every game needs to be revelatory, and Sniper Elite 5 proves that knowing your audience is sometimes all it takes. Gruff protagonist Karl Fairburne’s fifth outing takes him to occupied France, where he must put a stop to a MacGuffin plot named Operation Kraken. A mix of stealth and long-range skirmishes makes for a supremely satisfying blend, with Rebellion’s dense, vertical level design truly on target here. New wrinkles include an Axis Invasion mechanic, which allows competing players to infiltrate your single player campaign, upping the tension immensely. This a familiar outing overall, but a well-executed one – Sniper Elite just doesn’t miss.
Star Ocean The Second Story R (PS5)
$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)
Star Ocean The Second Story R is a fantastic remake of a classic RPG. It remains faithful to the original game's tone and atmosphere, but brings so many quality of life improvements to the table alongside an impressive visual overhaul. As a result, this is the best version of a beloved adventure — the core gameplay of which holds up shockingly well after all these years. A huge win for both nostalgia-driven fans and newcomers alike.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS5)
$3.99/£4.49 (-90%)
One of the best Star Wars games in recent memory is Jedi: Fallen Order, and it's even better with its PS5 iteration. The action title charts the adventures of Cal Kestis, a character who undergoes secret Jedi training amid the Empire's crackdown. With a motley crew, you journey to various known and new worlds, engaging in simple environmental puzzles and intense melee combat. On PS5, the game benefits from improved framerate and higher resolution, giving you the best picture possible while cutting through Stormtroopers with your customised lightsaber.
Streets of Rage 4 (PS4)
$9.99/£7.99 (-60%)
Streets of Rage 4 finally brings the classic series back, and it does so with plenty of style. Arcadey beat-'em-ups aren't as common as they used to be, but this modern iteration is about as good as they get. Crunchy, satisfying combat is the order of the day as endless goons populate the screen, lining up for a beatdown from classic characters and new ones alike. With both local and online play, you can clean up the streets with some buddies too.
Synapse (PS5)
$22.74/£19.49 (-35%)
Synapse is a great roguelike first-person shooter and an early win for PSVR2. Giving you access to telekinetic powers as well as an arsenal of firearms, this is a trippy power fantasy with distinctive visuals and satisfying action. It also makes full use of PSVR2's features, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback in the controllers and headset.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn (PS5)
$24.99/£22.49 (-50%)
Tactics Ogre: Reborn revives a stone cold strategy RPG classic, and even packs some welcome quality of life improvements into the deal. This fantasy-driven adventure's methodical pacing won't be for everyone, but once you're in, you can absolutely lose yourself to the game's party-building mechanics, intricate storytelling, and engrossing tactical combat.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (PS5)
$14.99/£11.99 (-40%)
Inspired by the many beloved TMNT games of yesteryear, Shredder's Revenge is a wonderful beat-'em-up that blends old and new for a turtle-y refreshing experience. You can of course play as the reptilian quartet, but Splinter, April O'Neil, and an unlockable Casey Jones all join the fight too, each with unique stats. The game features gorgeous pixel art with superb animations, as well as an excellent soundtrack and varied, enjoyable stages to fight through. With co-op either locally or online, this is an incredibly enjoyable game to play with some pals and pizza.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (PS4)
$15.99/£13.19 (-60%)
Set long before the events of the other Ace Attorney games, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles turns back the clock to the 19th century. Focusing on the journey of rookie attorney Ryunosuke Naruhodo (ancestor of Phoenix Wright) and his friend Herlock Sholmes, this duology of games plays similarly to the rest of the series, but sets itself apart with a fresh setting and characters. On top of that, it features some of the best cases and storylines in the whole franchise. If you enjoy this quirky courtroom drama series, this is definitely worth playing.
The Last Guardian (PS4)
$9.99/£11.99 (-50%/-60%)
From the team behind ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, you shouldn't overlook The Last Guardian. This third game in the loosely connected trilogy has just as much heart and impact as the others — not to mention one of the most technically impressive AI companions yet seen. Playing as a small boy, you and a large, mysterious creature called Trico must escape from a crumbling, enigmatic place full of dangers. The bond you'll form with Trico — who gradually learns to trust and listen to you more as the game goes on — is unlike any other in video games, leading to an incredibly emotional and touching adventure.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 (PS4)
$5.99/£4.99 (-80%)
When it comes to gameplay, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the most fleshed-out title in SEGA's strategy series. It builds on the property's trademark mix of real-time movement and command-based action really well, adding new unit types, character integrations, and battlefield hazards. The story's still pretty good, too, following yet another ragtag band of soldiers as they fight for their homeland. A little slow to get properly started, perhaps, but a tactical treat once you're in the trenches.
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (PS4)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is a super faithful remake of the classic Master System game, but it's utterly transformed by the beautiful new art style and revamped soundtrack. While the game's age somewhat shines through in the gameplay and design, this is still a wonderful platformer that has you transforming into various creatures with unique abilities. This is a good time whether or not you remember the original.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5)
$9.99/£7.99 (-50%)
Yakuza: Like a Dragon barely feels next-gen as it’s very much rooted by Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s dated engine and game design principles, but it’s bursting with personality and one of the most varied releases on this list. At its core, it’s a traditional, turn-based (a first for the franchise) role-playing game built around an engaging and relatable party of core characters, but it’s so much more: this small but densely populated open world harbours go-karts, an entire business management minigame, and more wacky side-quests than you can shake a massage wand at. This is one of the most unique and time consuming titles on PS5.
Phew, turns out there's quite a lot of cracking PS5 and PS4 games worth checking out in the Mega March sale. Of course, there's way more to consider, and you can of course view the entire sale on PS Store itself. Which Mega March games are you picking up? Tell us in the comments section below.

58?! How much money do you think we have??
For real though I think these pieces are great so thanks for putting this together. Some real gems in here at really great prices
Well I've already picked up The Hong Kong Massacre for 69p and had also noticed the price on Forgotton Anne (£1.54) and Little Orpheus (£1.50) so will also get the latter two.
Three games that I'm interested in for my PS4 backlog for less than a fiver. Good times.
Deus Ex is a bargain at that price. I know its always on offer but its still a great game.
58 games you should buy most likely cheaper physical copies of...
Finding myself more in the mood for retro old school style games lately.
Going to buy Vengeance Hunters and Fight'N Rage and a couple of others out of this sale but honestly my backlog is getting out of hand now.
Folks hope you continue with this format, some good picks that weren't yet in my wishlist. Looking forward to find these type of articles for most (if not all) sales
I recommend the mummy demastered ($8), lost ruins ($10), granblue fantasy relink ($30), live a live ($20), valkyrie profile lenneth (psp port, $10), vengeful guardian moonrider ($10), warhammer 40k boltgun ($11), and powerslave exhumed ($9)
Also just bought ridge racer 2 (psp port, $10) a couple of days ago. I also recommend sword of the vagrant ($4 or $3 with psplus), a 2D action rpg with art style that looks like dragon crown.
just snagged SMT 3 for 15 bucks can't wait to play
Just FYI - a lot of the Amazon prices aren't lining up. Dead Island 2 for example shows $30.99 on the US site.
I bought cygni:all guns blazing for £12.50..going to have some shoot 'em up action tonight..
I‘ve never played RE7, and 8 Euro is really tempting. But review scores are not stellar, PushSquare gave both the PS4 and PS5 versions only a 8/10, Eurogamer didn’t recommend it. I found RE8 good and RE4 fantastic (how could it be else?).
RE7, what do you think?
@Max_the_German it leans a lot more into horror than 8, feels much more in line with 4 to me. Much scarier in setting and tone for a lot of it IMO. But it is a very good game and definitely worth playing
@sorteddan Forgotton Anne is a great game
From this list, I already owned 18 and played 5 from PS+. I'm interested to buy a couple like GoW Ragnarok, TMNT Shredder Revenge, and Ghost Trick. But my money's tight for the rest of this month.
But nice guide PS 👍
58 games? I certainly didn't see 58
Inscryption is an excellent game. Such a crazy game that is spoilt by knowing too much about it but well worth it. A really tough but satisfying platinum too.
Dredge is a great chill game but also pretty dark at times. I thought the minimal story fell a little flat at the end and there was a bit too much faff for the platinum but still a good game.
Knights and Bikes is a gem. I played it solo where you can switch between characters but it would be amazing played couch co-op. So many neat little nods to Cornish life if you know the area too.
I'll grab The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince for €9 and maybe Tomb Raider I-III Remastered for €15.
So compared to the original post - this is infinitely more useful and well made. I was going to recommend Dead Rising (seems annoyingly cheap given that I bought it on sale - physically - for about twice the price just 2 months ago). There are a few bangers in the list you put though... but I think this goes to a larger problem... why is Sony padding out their sales with huge numbers of filler shovelware? As I commented, I'm sorry, any game going for 4cents (AUD) is likely not quality gaming.
Makes me wonder if this isn't about providing defensive stats on the string of anti-competitive class cases before a number of courts.
Still kudos where due... you definitely value added with this revised post! But just a heads up - the original post is still there, linking to this updated one.
Both of the Ender games are worth a mention (Lilies and Magnolia)
COD BlackOps 4, really? A lack luster title from 2018 and probably unplayable for the most part(most modes) in 2025. The game also didn't have a single player campaign either ... This should be free at worst, thrown out at best.
I am on the edge for quite a number of titles, but will likely never play them.
Anyway shout out to Ghost Giant, Synapse, which I already have (both worth the full price). Then, I'd rather recommend to play the Re4 remake on psvr2 (not on sale but was on sale frequently in the past, also worth its full price) than going for the cheaper original flat ps4 version.
@tameshiyaku More often then not this is the case. But with some games digital is proper cheap. Just copped out catherine for 7 quid compared to I think a 20-30 physical copy 😅
@sorteddan If you go into Forgotten Anne as more of an interactive visual novel than an action game you'll enjoy it...I did, albeit have only unlocked two main endings & am certain the way things are presented post ending there's at least one or two alternatives!
Heartily recommend Wonderboy Dragon's Trap & Streets of Rage 4 not half bad either! As @Wiiware Mummy Demastered a good challenge...vengeful guardian moonrider on the wishlist but joy masher games definitely bring arcade old school hardness with their gorgeous visuals!😅
Dredge much like Dave the Diver has my interest albeit the former also has some extra dlc which nice to have just hope not necessarily needed to play the main game!🤔
Would like to get Octopath Traveller II or the later Ace Attorney compilations but higher pricepoints still is money i don't have with bills atm! Ghost Trick or TMNT Shredders tevenge tempting but might have to limit myself much as there's a few here I'd like to get.🤔
Pumpkin Jack and Boxville, just for good measure! 😍
@tameshiyaku (#4) if available 😭
I ALWAYS choose physical over digital where possible!
@Max_the_German
8/10 is a great score for a great game! Better than Village IMO
Great picks! Star Ocean second story and Arranger are already in my basket waiting for me to check out. I cashed in some rewards for £10 credit and I'll be looking to buy some PSN credit for 15% off shortly. I'm just debating if I include Forza Horizon 5 preorder in with the total as it's easier to find good psn credit deals at larger amounts..
I really like this format of suggesting sales picks to us and you've mentioned a couple here that sound appealing I didn't know about.
Good job Push, thank you!
@homelesscretin @PerpetualBoredom im lucky that in my city we got an active 2nd hand community, both online and flee markets. We had GameStop's but they were never popular here.
WOW. All these games on sale and not a single one on my wish list. SMH...... Good thing I just boght BANISHERS: Ghosts Of New Eden the other day.
@Northern_munkey How is it mate? Had an old friend round last weekend and had blast playing some old shooters on the nacon fight stick, so I'm in the mood for a new addition.
He finished gradius in one credit, which left me feeling pretty inadequate 😂
Hello buddy..cygni is really cool but it's quite difficult until you get used to the amount of things going on..if you like old school shooters it's a must..
Hey everyone, I need some opinions. Two of the games that I'm interested in buying not on this list are discounted as well (maybe different regions);
Dragon's Dogma 2 Standard Edition (45% = $37) and
Granblue Fantasy Relink Standard Edition (50% = $21).
Do you guys think these are worth buying now or should I wait for future discounts to see if they'll go lower?
