Where are all the Flashback Tapes in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time on PS5 and PS4? How do you get all the Flashback Tapes? As part of our Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time guide, we're going to show you where to find every Flashback Tape.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time - All Flashback Tapes Locations
Below is a list of every Flashback Tape and where to find them. In order to collect the Flashback Tapes, you must reach them without dying beforehand. After you collect them, your death count doesn't matter.
Crash Compactor
The Flashback Tape is ahead of you right at the start of the level.
Hit the Road
After the section with the first fire box, you need to hop across some tires while avoiding the swinging obstacles. The Flashback Tape is just after this, and right before the next checkpoint.
Booty Calls
After the first checkpoint, you go inside a cave. There are two enemies pacing back and forth. Get rid of them and the Flashback Tape is on the next platform to the left.
Jetboard Jetty
After the first section on the jetboard, the Flashback tape is on the deck to the left.
Give It a Spin
The Flashback Tape is on the main path after you jump up the waterfall.
Draggin' On
After getting the Akano mask the second time, you'll come to an area with three lion enemies. Use the Dark Matter Spin to defeat them, and the Flashback Tape is just ahead.
Off-Balance
Once you get the Akano mask, fly across the platforms, dodging the fire. The Flashback Tape is just after a set of fire-breathing dragon heads.
Off Beat

Run It Bayou
This Flashback Tape is quite tricky, as it appears fairly late into the level, when you're riding on top of the food boat. You'll need to grab it while making sure you stay with the roof of the boat.
Snow Way Out
After using slow motion to get across the icy platforms, you'll drop down to a checkpoint. The Flashback Tape is just ahead next to some boxes.
Stay Frosty
At the checkpoint where you get the Kupuna-Wa mask, use slow motion to get across the river. The Flashback Tape is on the next platform.
Bears Repeating
On the section where you ride on Polar, the Flashback Tape is over a large jump after the checkpoint box.
Blast to the Past
The Flashback Tape appears along the side-scrolling section half way through the level.
Dino Dash
The Flashback Tape is on the main path just after the second T-Rex chase sequence.
Out for Launch
The Flashback Tape is just after the second rail grind section.
Stowing Away
After going down the lift in the cockpit and hitting the last checkpoint, the Flashback Tape is in the red tunnel ahead.
Crash Landed
You'll reach a checkpoint inside a tunnel. Just ahead is Ika-Ika, the gravity mask. When you exit the tunnel you'll be upside down, and the Flashback Tape will be ahead to the right.
Food Run
There's a section where you must use gravity powers to wall run and jump up to upside-down traffic. In the air below are boxes in cross patterns with TNT in the middle. Above one of these crosses is the Flashback Tape.
Nitro Processing
The Flashback Tape is very late into the level. After you get the Kupuna-Wa mask (slow motion), the Flashback Tape is on a platform after going down and then up two water slides.
Toxic Tunnels
Right near the end of the level, the Flashback Tape is before a rotating platform, over to the left above a bouncy box.
Cortex Castle
The Flashback Tape is located during the final gauntlet as you navigate all the lasers. While using the gravity mask, you'll be heading up and will grab the slow motion mask and will land on a small platform with the Flashback Tape.
